Canaries’ Fate Sealed by Weekend Loss
Losers in eight straight contests in all competitions, including a trio of road matches, Norwich City will be playing for pride when they hit the pitch on Tuesday as distant +2000 underdogs. The Canaries are coming off a crushing 4-0 loss to West Ham United over the weekend that assures they will finish the campaign at the bottom of the table, and will be relegated to the EFL Championship next season.
Offensive production has been non-existent during Norwich’s freefall into the EPL basement. The Canaries have tallied just two total goals during their eight-match losing streak, and have been particularly brutal on the road in their first season back in the Premier League since 2016. Norwich Hobbled by Feeble Offense, Injury-Riddled Defense

One thing the Canaries do have going for them is a track record of closely fought matchups with Chelsea. Norwich fell just short in a 3-2 home loss to the Blues back in August, and have played the Blues to a draw in a pair of FA Cup clashes in January 2018. However, with their fate this season already sealed, and with Chelsea having so much to play for, look for the Blues to outclass Norwich on Tuesday afternoon.
