Sevilla vs West Ham Prediction

Sevilla have lost just once at home in all competitions this season. West Ham have lost five of eight on the road, and could be without both Jarrod Bowen and Declan Rice. It’s back-to-back defeats for David Moyes’ side, who are at risk of ending the season with a whimper after playing so well in the opening months of the campaign.

Europa League specialists Sevilla can focus their energy on this competition once again. Title hopes have faded with Real Madrid building a substantial lead, but they are secure in the top four in La Liga. They are expected to be without several key players on Thursday, however, with Anthony Martial having missed the last three games, while Erik Lamela, Suso and Papu Gomez are doubts. Thomas Delaney is suspended and Diego Carlos sat out at the weekend.

West Ham impressed in the group stage, topping their section, yet they don’t come into this match in good form. They have scored just eight goals in their last eight matches in all competitions, and this Sevilla defense remains resolute. The hosts are good value to win to nil.

Pick: Sevilla to win to nil (+240)

Barcelona vs Galatasaray Prediction

Riding a run of four consecutive wins in all competitions, Barcelona look like a new team under Xavi. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has provided a focal point for the attack, and Memphis Depay is in line to start after an injury. It’s eight unbeaten overall for the Catalan giants, and it’s no surprise to see them so heavily favored against Galatasaray, who historically struggle on the road in Europe.

The visitors impressed in a tough group with Marseille and Lazio, but they have just one win from their last 10 away matches. They have only made it past the Round of 16 in continental play once since 2000-01. Domènec Torrent has a fully healthy squad to choose from, but expectations are low.

Avoiding a heavy defeat and giving themselves a chance in the second leg would be positive for the visitors. Barcelona, though, have scored 14 across their last four, and their attack should enjoy another productive night here.

Pick: Barcelona to win both halves (+108)

Atalanta vs Bayer Leverkusen Prediction

Perhaps the most balanced tie of the round sees Atalanta host Bayer Leverkusen. The Italian club have stuttered domestically, though they made light work of Olympiacos in the last round. Leverkusen are coming off an impressive draw with Bayern Munich, but their away form leaves plenty to be desired with four defeats from seven on the road.

Gian Piero Gasperini made some substantial in-game tweaks during Atalanta’s loss to Roma at the weekend, which could suggest a shake up for this one. The hosts are already without Duvan Zapata, and Davide Zappacosta is a doubt. While Patrik Schick remains sidelined for Leverkusen, leaving Florian Wirtz to operate as a false nine with Serdar Azmoun and Lucas Alario on the bench.

Leverkusen’s poor away form makes it hard to back them here. Atalanta have been far from perfect at home, but they can take confidence from their performance against Olympiacos.

Pick: Atalanta moneyline (-103)
