Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur Prediction

Both teams come into this off the back of very different EPL experiences last weekend. For United, it was the heartbreak of defeat in the Manchester derby, when they were comfortably beaten 4-1 by Man City at the Etihad, while Tottenham produced their best performance of the season to hammer Frank Lampard’s Everton 5-0 in north London.

The Red Devils’ recent poor run has seen them drop out of the top four and temporary manager Ralph Rangnick has a massive task on his hands to steer his team to a place in next season’s Champions League. Tottenham, meanwhile, is on an upward curve and just two points behind United with two games in hand. With momentum being everything at this stage, Spurs are in a good place.

The good news for United is that both Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani are expected to return from injury, but this is a United team that looks low on belief and confidence. With striker Harry Kane finally rediscovering his best form, this could be a tough afternoon for United and, for me, the +240 on offer for the away win offers good value.

Picks: Tottenham to win (+240)

Everton vs Wolverhampton Wanderers Prediction

Despite relieving Rafa Benitez of his managerial duties at Goodison Park and replacing him with Frank Lampard, the Toffees are still well and truly in the midst of the relegation scrap. A miserable run of four defeats in their last five games has left the Merseysiders with a problem as the Premier League enters its closing stages.

The Toffees are just a single place and a single point clear of the relegation zone although they crucially have a game-in-hand on 18th-placed Burnley. Games like this one, against Wolves, have to start yielding three points but it will be tough as Bruno Lage’s team are in a good place and come into this off the back of a 4-0 home win over Watford on Thursday night.

Everton, somewhat unexpectedly, starts this as the favorite, so the value is definitely with the away win at a generous looking +230.

Pick: Wolves to win (+230)

Arsenal vs Leicester City Prediction

Arsenal comes into this crucial game looking to make it five wins on the bounce – a run that has seen them leap into the top four and put themselves in pole position for the fourth and final Champions League spot. Alexandre Lacazette has perfectly filled the void left by Aubameyang’s January departure and provided two assists in last weekend’s 3-2 win at Watford.

For Leicester, this has not been the season they had hoped and after three seasons of fighting for the Champions League places, this term they find themselves down in 12th place. They did win last time out in the EPL –  a narrow 1-0 win over beleaguered Leeds – but coach Brendan Rodgers is crucially still without the services of record goalscorer, Jamie Vardy.

The Gunners kick off as odds-on favorites with good reason but two consecutive wins in the EPL for Leicester and a fine midweek win over Rennes in the Europa Conference League in midweek have given the Foxes a timely lift. The value here is with a low-scoring draw.

Pick: Arsenal and Leicester to draw (+350)
