Chelsea vs Arsenal Prediction

Chelsea welcomes high-flying Arsenal to Stamford Bridge on Sunday. The Blues just finished top of their group in the Champions League and have been playing well under new boss Graham Potter, but he was finally handed his first defeat in charge on Matchday 14 as his former club, Brighton, beat Chelsea 4-1 at the Amex. To make matters worse, they’ve lost three of their last four games against the Gunners.

Arsenal is still cruising at the top of the table, dropping just five points all term long. Mikel Arteta’s men currently sit two points above Manchester City and a positive result is crucial here to remain in first. Last Sunday, the Gunners ran riot on Nottingham Forest, securing a 5-0 victory behind a brace from Reiss Nelson. Their Premier League odds are currently +600 to lift the title in 2023.

The Gunners have won two straight at The Bridge and they’ve secured the full points in their previous four London derbies. I’m taking the visitors in my Premier League picks here to continue their winning ways.

Pick: Arsenal +170

Aston Villa vs Man United Prediction

Unai Emery searches for his first victory as the new Villa gaffer on Sunday as they face a stern test against in-form Manchester United. The Lions aren’t doing well at the moment, sitting in 16th spot with a 3-3-7 record, losing two of their last three matches. In both of those defeats, Villa failed to score and conceded a total of seven times. A 4-0 win over Brentford on October 23rd was the lone bright spot.

United is up to fifth in the table, riding a nine-game unbeaten run across all competitions. Last Sunday, the Red Devils ran out as 1-0 winners against West Ham courtesy of a fine finish from Marcus Rashford, his fourth goal of the EPL campaign.

There’s one glaring statistic that I’m focusing on here. Man United are unbeaten in their previous 23 outings away at Villa, winning 15 and drawing eight times. Erik ten Hag’s group is playing too well to bet against. They’ll produce the goods for our Premier League picks.

Pick: Man United +112

Tottenham vs Liverpool Prediction

Spurs clash with Liverpool Sunday but will be without Heung-min Son, who suffered a facial injury in the mid-week UCL victory over Marseille. He’s out until 2023 and will be questionable to play at the World Cup, too. Antonio Conte is already dealing with the absences of Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison in the final third, which means it’s up to Harry Kane to be the main provider against the Merseysiders. Tottenham barely won on Matchday 14, with Rodrigo Bentactur netting a last-minute winner against Bournemouth. That kept them in third place for the time being.

The Reds are a whole 15 points off top spot in ninth place. That’s unfamiliar territory for one of the best clubs in the world in recent years, but Jurgen Klopp’s side is truly struggling. They were shocked by Leeds last time out in England, tasting a 2-1 defeat. But, Liverpool gained some confidence back, beating a very solid Napoli team mid-week in the Champions League, 2-0. Klopp’s squad has won just two of their previous five domestic outings, though.

Tottenham is winless in the last nine league meetings with Liverpool and given the injury concerns, that could continue here. The Reds might be dealing with health problems too, but their attack is looking a lot more intact. It’s also only a matter of time until they win a game away from Anfield, going 0-2-3 this term. Take the visitors in the Premier League picks this weekend.

Pick: Liverpool +110
