The final week of the XFL season brings with it plenty of intrigue. Two playoff spots are still up for grabs, and depending on the results of the Week 10 games, some interesting tiebreak scenarios could come into play. Read on for an XFL Week 10 analysis.

In the North, both Seattle and St. Louis enter play with identical 6-3 records. They’re fighting for the division’s second and final playoff spot, with the BattleHawks taking part in the slate’s opening game on Saturday afternoon.

XFL Week 10 Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Orlando Guardians +9 (-110) +310 O 48 (-110)
St. Louis BattleHawks -9 (-110) -380 U 48 (-110)
Team Spread Moneyline Total
DC Defenders -3 (-110) -150 O 42 (-110)
San Antonio Brahmas +3 (-110) +130 U 42 (-110)
Team Spread Moneyline Total
Houston Roughnecks +1 (-110) -105 O 41.5 (-110)
Arlington Renegades -1 (-110) -115 U 41.5 (-110)
Team Spread Moneyline Total
Vegas Vipers +8.5 (-110) +320 O 47 (-110)
Seattle Sea Dragons -8.5 (-110) -390 U 47 (-110)

St. Louis is laying a slate-high 9 points versus Orlando, which feels awfully high – more on that later. The Sea Dragons meanwhile, are the week’s second-biggest favorite, giving 8.5 points to Vegas. Online sportsbooks obviously expect both playoff contenders to rack up convincing victories, but be careful laying that many points in this type of league.

XFL Week 10 – Orlando Guardians vs St. Louis BattleHawks Picks

If St. Louis wins and Seattle losses, the BattleHawks will be playoff bound. If both teams either win or lose, the tiebreak will come down to a point differential in divisional games. That gives St. Louis an incentive to try and run up the score, but that could prove more difficult than expected given the Guardians’ form.

Orlando is 3-0-1 against the spread in its last four games. That includes a win over DC, the only team in the league that can say that, and two losses by a total of four points.

The Guardians improved play started once Quinten Dormady was inserted under center, and even though he struggled last week, his play over the previous three games showed he’s capable of big things.

St. Louis’ offense meanwhile, has stalled recently. They’re averaging only 16.5 points per game over the last two weeks, with A.J. McCarron throwing a pair of interceptions while averaging only 5.8 yards per attempt in his previous game.

Pick: Orlando Guardians +9

XFL Week 10 – DC Defenders vs San Antonio Brahmas Picks

DC has locked up the South division’s top seed, and will likely rest most of its key starters. San Antonio on the other hand, still has a shot at the South’s final playoff spot. They’ll need a win and some help, but they should be able to handle the Defenders’ second-stringers.

Per the XFL stats, no team has allowed fewer points than the Brahmas this season. Just three of their nine opponents have reached 20 points versus them, while San Antonio leads the league in tackles for loss.

Pick: San Antonio Brahmas +3

Houston Roughnecks vs Arlington Renegades Picks

Houston can keep the Brahmas playoff hopes alive by knocking off Arlington, but the Roughnecks don’t have anything to play for. Like DC, they’ve clinched their postseason spot and will be looking to rest players with no week off prior to the start of the playoffs.

Speaking of the postseason, if the Renegades win this game the two teams will square off again next week in the XFL semifinals. That should entice Houston to keep their game plan extremely vanilla, similar to a preseason game.

Arlington’s offense meanwhile, has been one of the worst all season but has been given new life thanks to the addition of Luis Perez. He threw for 335 yards last week against the Defenders, the XFL Championship odds favorites, and should find similar success against an overrated Houston team.

Pick: Arlington Renegades -1

Vegas Vipers vs Seattle Sea Dragons Picks

Perez’s former team the Vegas Vipers, have also seen a stark improvement offensively from where they began the season. Much of the credit goes to Jalan McClendon, who owns a 5-to-0 TD-to-INT rate since taking over as the full-time starter.

These two teams played to a 30-26 Seattle win earlier this season, and we should expect another high-scoring affair on Sunday. Ben DiNucci leads the XFL in passing, thriving in June Jones’ run-and-shoot offense.

XFL Championship Odds

Player Odds
DC Defenders +140
Houston Roughnecks +250
Seattle Sea Dragons +400
St. Louis BattleHawks +550
Arlington Renegades +1000
San Antonio Brahmas +2500

The Sea Dragons have put up 30+ points in back-to-back outings and should feast versus a Vegas defense that’s yielded the second-most points in the league.

Picks: Over 47, Vegas Vipers +8.5
