See how the odds to win Super Bowl 52 changed for all 32 teams throughout the course of the 2017 NFL season in our graphs below. The Philadelphia Eagles beat the New England Patriots in one of the most entertaining Super Bowls of this era. This marked the Eagles first ever SUper Bowl championship.
Sportsbooks had a difficult time figuring out the Eagles, as they suffered a massive injury to their QB (Carson Wentz) late in the regular season, who was having an MVP-caliber season prior to the injury. But Nick Foles stepped in admirably and ended up leading his team to a championship. You can take a look at how the Super Bowl 52 odds changed throughout the 2017-18 NFL season below.
Super Bowl 52 Odds for Top Contenders
Although few were surprised by the New England Patriots reaching Super Bowl 52, many of the other 2017 division winners were quite the surprise (see the Eagles, Jaguars, Rams etc.).
And perhaps the biggest surprise of the season came when the Eagles, led by Nick Foles, managed to knock off the Patriots in Super Bowl 52, earning the franchise’s first Lombardi Trophy.
The worst odds to win the Super Bowl New England saw all season were +525 when they opened on February 5, 2017. Philadelphia, on the other hand, were as long as +5100 at opening.
