How to Watch NFL International Games 2026

Three of the nine NFL international games will be live when you’re used to watching the NFL.

Week 1 (8:35 p.m. ET), Week 3 (4:25 p.m. ET), and Week 11 (8:15 p.m. ET) won’t feel that foreign to NFL viewers, as the latter two are being played in the Western Hemisphere, and Week 1 is being played on the opposite side of the planet, making a day ahead of time.

Trust us, that makes sense.

The European games, however, will all be played at 9:30 a.m. ET, which is the middle of the day locally.

Netflix is streaming the Week 1 game, while CBS and Paramount+ get Week 3, NFL Network gets the next five, and FOX (Week 10) and NBC (Week 11) close things out.

Week 1: 49ers vs Rams, NFL Australia Game in Melbourne

The first NFL game in Australia was played on Thursday, Sept. 10, between NFC West rivals the 49ers and Rams.

San Francisco, which was designated as the visiting team, won the game 27-7 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground behind three touchdown passes from Brock Purdy.

The game was streamed on Netflix with an 8:35 p.m. ET start time, which was 10:35 a.m. local time, but on Sept. 11.

Melbourne Cricket Ground is a national landmark in Australia, having opened in 1853. It has a capacity of 100,024.

Week 3: Ravens vs. Cowboys, NFL Brazil Game in Rio de Janeiro

The NFL’s third trip to Brazil, and first to Rio de Janeiro, took place on Sunday, Sept. 27, when the Ravens took on the Cowboys, with Dallas listed as the home team.

It was the third all-time international game of the Ravens, who are 1-1, while the Cowboys have played just one international game, defeating Jacksonville in 2014.

Maracana Stadium is typically used for soccer in Brazil, with Flamengo and Fluminese each calling it home. The stadium seats 78,838.

Baltimore won 34-31 on a last-second field goal.

NFL London Games 2026

The NFL is returning to London for three straight weeks in 2026, with games in Week 4, 5 and 6. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host the first two matchups, while Wembley Stadium gets the final one.

Each of these games will kick off at 9:30 a.m. ET and 2:30 p.m. London time.

Week 4: Colts vs. Commanders London Game

The Commanders were the home team for this matchup on Oct. 4, their third time heading overseas. Each of their first two overseas games ended in overtime, one a tie and the other a loss.

Indianapolis has played three international games, going 2-1, with their 2025 trip to Germany ending with an overtime victory.

This game aired on NFL Network from the state-of-the-art Tottenham stadium, which seats 62,850.

The Colts won 30-13 behind a strong Jonathan Taylor performance

Week 5: Eagles vs. Jaguars London Game

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host a game for the second straight week, this one a rematch of a 2018 game played at Wembley Stadium, which the Eagles won 24-18.

Jacksonville has played 13 games in London since 2013, and is 7-6 in those games. Philadelphia is 2-0 in international matchups.

This game will be played on Oct. 11, and the Jags are favored by a TD.

Week 6: Texans vs. Jaguars London Game

Jacksonville will stretch its record of most international games played by an NFL team to 15 when it plays its second straight in London, this time moving over to Wembley Stadium for an AFC South matchup on Oct. 18.

Jags owner Shahid Kahn has connections to England, as he also owns Premier League club Fulham FC.

This game is also an international rematch, as the Texans defeated Jacksonville 26-3 at Wembley in 2019. Houston is 1-1 all-time in international games but hasn’t played one since 2019, as it lost three weeks later against the Raiders in Mexico City.

Wembley is London’s most famous stadium, having hosted some of the biggest musical acts and sporting events in the world. The latest iteration of it opened in 2007 on the site of the previous Wembley Stadium, which was open from 1923 through 2000. It has a capacity of 90,000.

Week 7: Steelers vs. Saints, NFL Paris Game 2026

The NFL will make its first regular-season appearance in France on Oct. 25, welcoming a team from New Orleans, a city known for its French heritage.

The city was founded by French colonists, and the French Quarter is one of the most famous neighborhoods in the US. So, it’s fitting the Saints are serving as host in the country’s first game.

Stade de France will play host to the matchup, with its seating capacity of 81,338.

The Saints are 2-1 in international games, with all of their previous forays played in London. The Steelers are 1-1 in the regular season, but have a strong history of international travel, having played in seven international preseason games from 1960-2000.

This game will air at 9:30 a.m. ET, 2:30 p.m. Paris time, on NFL Network.

Week 9: Bengals vs. Falcons, NFL Madrid Game

The NFL returns to Madrid for the second straight year, as the home of Real Madrid hosts the Bengals vs. Falcons on Nov. 8.

Atlanta will be the home team in this matchup, which airs at 9:30 a.m. ET, 3:30 p.m. Madrid time, on NFL Network.

The Falcons are 1-3 all-time in international games (1-4 if you count a loss against the Bills in Toronto in 2014, but we are not counting that), while the Bengals are 0-1-1.

Bernabeu Stadium seats 83,186 after its massive renovation in 2024. It features a retractable roof, so weather will not be an issue.

Week 10: Patriots vs. Lions, NFL Germany Game in Munich

For the sixth time, the NFL will play in Germany, as the Detroit Lions have been set as the hosts against the New England Patriots on Nov. 15.

It’s the third game at Munich’s Allianz Arena, which is the home of Bayern Munich. Allianz has a capacity of 75,024.

This matchup will kick off at 9:30 a.m. ET, 3:30 p.m. in Germany, and air on FOX.

The Lions are 1-1 in international matchups but have not played overseas since 2015, while the Patriots are 3-2, including a 2023 loss against the Colts in Frankfurt, Germany.

Week 11: Vikings vs. 49ers Mexico City Game 2026

The 49ers will make their second international trip of the season, albeit a much shorter one, on Nov. 22.

Mexico has hosted NFL regular season games before, but not since 2022. This one will kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET, 7:20 p.m. Mexico time, on NBC, serving as the week’s Sunday Night Football matchup.

Estadio Banorte, better known as Estadio Azteca, is known for its elevation, sitting at 7,349 feet above sea level. It seats 87,523, and can be one of the most raucous soccer venues in the world.

San Francisco is 3-1 in international games, and will be making their third trip to Mexico City. Minnesota is 5-1 in international games, having won a pair in 2025.

Which NFL Teams Play International Games in 2026?

Sixteen NFL teams will play in international games this season, with the Jacksonville Jaguars and San Francisco 49ers each playing in two.

The following teams will serve as home teams during the international games: Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Commanders, Jacksonville Jaguars (twice), New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, and San Francisco 49ers.

These nine will be listed as visitors internationally: San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens, Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, and Minnesota Vikings.

NFL International Games History

The NFL started playing international games in 2005, when it branched out to Mexico City. It started going overseas in 2007, with trips to London.

With a record nine international games in 2026, the NFL will have played 71 games as part of its international series.

London has hosted the most NFL interntional games, with more than 40 between Wembley, Tottenham and Twickenham Stadium.

Two new countries were added in 2026, with Australia and France, and Rio de Janeiro became the second city in Brazil to host.

Betting on NFL International Games

There are three major factors to consider when betting on NFL international games: Homefield advantage, time, and travel.

Time and travel are pretty self-explanatory, as teams are taking international flights and adjusting to massive time zone changes. Sports betting operators are taking that into consideration when setting their lines for these games, but it’s good to look at cumulative travel for a team leading up to the games.

It’s also not a bad idea to monitor teams that played internationally the following week, as they’re often at a massive travel and time disadvantage.

As for homefield advantage, well, it doesn’t exist. While one team is designated as the “home” team in each of these games, they are neutral site games. The home team typically gets about 1.5 points when bookmakers are setting NFL odds, so international NFL spreads will be raw matchup projections.

Tips Before Betting on NFL International Games

Perhaps the most important thing to know about NFL international games is what time they start, to make sure you get your bets in.

But when looking at NFL odds for international games, it’s good to know that favorites have covered in nearly two-thirds of matchups since 2011.

In that time, favorites are 33-21 against the spread, and 38-15-1 overall.

While you might think long travel could lead to sloppy play and fewer points, the under only holds a slight edge heading into 2026, as it has hit in 32 of the last 60 international games. Most of that gap comes from Wembley, where the Under is 14-11. It has also, notably, hit in both games at Allianz Arena.

It is probably worth it to see how long each team has spent getting acclimated to the area before betting, as the Rams and 49ers showed us in Week 1 of 2026.

San Francisco spent nearly a week in Australia, while the Rams flew out 24 hours before the game, despite being the home team. That certainly appeared to be a factor in the dominating performance by the 49ers.
