  • The College Football Conference Title Games continue on Saturday
  • Duke ranks 133rd in passing yards allowed per game this season
  • See below for my favorite College Football player props and best bets for the Week 15 Conference Title Games

It’s Conference Championship weekend in college football, with some spectacular matchups to sweat on Saturday. I’ve already got my sides and totals locked for the week, so now it’s time to focus on the college football player props market.

Below you’ll find my three best bets for the Week 15 Conference Title Games, and a detailed breakdown of why each selection stands out.

College Football Week 15 Player Props – Best Bets (Dec. 6)

PropOdds (Sportsbook)
Chandler Morris (UVA) Over 229.5 Passing Yards-115 (at Underdog)
Gunner Stockton (UGA) Under 201.5 Passing Yards-120 (at BetMGM)
Nate Frazier (UGA) Over 59.5 Rushing Yards-115 (at Ceasars)

My college football player props card starts with over 229.5 passing yards for Virginia’s Chandler Morris. The Senior isn’t the nation’s most prolific passer, but you can’t overlook the amount he’s been throwing over the last six weeks, or the favorable matchup against Duke.

I’m also targeting a pair of props in the SEC Championship showdown between Georgia and Alabama, fading Gunner Stockton and backing Nate Frazier.

Week 15 College Football Player Prop: Chandler Morris Passing Yards

Let’s start with Morris. In the last eight games he’s started and finished for UVA, he’s had 35, 35, 36, 35, 25, 31, 35 and 31 pass attempts. He’s turned that volume into just three 260+ passing days, but it’s been a lack of efficiency not opportunity for the middling results. Efficiency shouldn’t be an issue against the Blue Devils, who are horrendous in pass defense.

Duke Pass Defense Stats

StatTotal
Yards per Throw8.7 (124th)
Passing Yards per Game287.9 (133rd)
Sack %5.67% (77th)

Duke enters the week ranked 124th in yards per attempt allowed and 133rd in passing yards surrendered per game. They struggle badly in coverage and don’t generate pressure, which has led to big passing days to almost everyone they’ve faced including Morris. In their Week 12 matchup, the senior pivot threw for 316 yards in a convincing win.

I’m not ready to call another 300+ yard day for Morris, but a big game is incoming. The Blue Devils’ defensive strength is against the run, which will funnel even more pass attempts Morris’ way.

As always, make sure you shop around as player props vary great across sportsbooks. Most commercial shops have Morris’ passing over/under north of 250, but you can bet over 229.5 passing yards for him at Underdog at -115 odds.

Week 15 College Football Player Prop: Gunner Stockton Passing Yards

Moving on to Stockton, whose Georgia program is looking to book a fifth appearance in the CFP odds final l2. Like Morris, Stockton doesn’t boast prolific passing numbers, but the difference between them is that the Bulldogs QB doesn’t get nearly the volume that Morris does.

Stockton has just 21 attempts in each of his last two games, and threw for only 70 yards in a Rivalry Week showdown with Georgia Tech. He threw the ball only 20 times in a regular-season meeting with Bama back in September, racking up a measly 130 yards.

The way to beat the Tide is to run the ball down their throat, not to attack them through the air. Alabama is top-18 in yards allowed per attempt and passing yards surrendered per game, and feature a stable of coverage corners and pass rushers that will be playing on Sundays in the near future.

Week 15 College Football Player Prop: Nate Frazier Rushing Yards

I might be down on Stockton as a passer, but I still think Georgia is the right side in the SEC Title Game. The Bulldogs can absolutely exploit a week Bama run defense, and they’ll do so with Nate Frazier.

The sophomore RB has taken control of the Georgia backfield ever since Chauncey Bowens went down. Bowens finally returned last week, but didn’t even earn a carry because Frazier was running so well. Frazier ripped off his second 100+ yard outing in four weeks, averaging 6.8 yards per attempt.

He racked up 7.5 yards per carry in the Bulldogs’ regular-season meeting with the Tide, but only drew a handful of carries as the backup.

With Frazier’s and Bowens’ roles now reversed, look for Frazier to lead the charge on Saturday, easily clearing 59.5 rushing yards.
