Milwaukee drew first blood in the World Series with a 3-2 win over Tampa Bay in Game 1. Game 2 goes Saturday at 8 pm ET from American Family Field, with FOX carrying the broadcast.

The Brewers got five innings from Jacob Misiorowski in the opener before handing it to the bullpen. Abner Uribe, Aaron Ashby and Trevor Megill covered the final 4.0 innings and allowed one run.

Tonight it’s Drew Rasmussen against Logan Henderson, and Rasmussen has allowed just three earned runs across 21 postseason innings. I’ve got two plays on the board, and both are trading on Kalshi.

Rays vs Brewers Game 2 Prediction Market Odds

MarketKalshi PriceBreak-Even (Before Fees)
Rays to Win48¢48%
Brewers to Win54¢54%
Over 6.550¢50%
Under 6.551¢51%

A winning Kalshi contract pays $1, so the price you pay is also your break-even rate before fees. Buying the Brewers at 54¢ means you need Milwaukee to win this game more than 54% of the time for the trade to pay off long term.

The Rays sit at 48¢, and the two sides add up to 102¢ because of the spread between buy prices. The same goes for the total, where the one-cent gap between the Over and Under is spread, not the market leaning toward fewer runs.

Kalshi prices checked October 24 at 7:09 pm ET; prices can change. New users can grab the Kalshi promo code before trading the World Series.

Kalshi

54%

The Brewers contract above returns $1 on a win, which works out to a 46¢ profit before fees. Milwaukee needs to clear that 54% break-even, and I think the Brew Crew gets there.

On paper, Milwaukee has a slight edge against right-handed pitching. The Brewers posted a .760 OPS in 3,815 at-bats against righties in the regular season, while the Rays sat at .752 in 3,685 at-bats.

That’s a small gap, but October has widened it. Milwaukee is hitting .270 against righties in 178 postseason at-bats, compared to .192 for Tampa Bay in 182 at-bats.

I won’t oversell a sample that small. Still, it points the same direction as the season numbers, and the Rays managed just two runs in Game 1.

Henderson makes his first start since October 12, when he allowed four runs (two earned) over 4.0 innings. Control is the concern, with five walks against six strikeouts across his two playoff starts.

If he hands over a lead, Milwaukee has a bullpen that just covered four innings of the opener. Ashby and Megill each threw 20 pitches in Game 1, so their workload is worth watching.

Rays vs Brewers Pick #2: Under 6.5 Runs

Kalshi
Under 6.5 Runs
51%

The Under contract above costs 51¢, putting the break-even at 51% before fees. A win pays $1, good for a 49¢ profit per contract.

Rasmussen is the biggest reason I want a low-scoring game. He owns a 1.29 ERA across 21.0 innings in three postseason starts, with 23 strikeouts and just three walks.

His last outing on October 18 was more of the same. He went 7.0 innings and allowed one earned run with six strikeouts and one walk.

Game 1 finished with five total runs, and the Brewers pen gave up one over the final four frames. Henderson’s walks are the main threat here, but Rasmussen averaging seven innings per postseason start gives this Under 6.5 prediction a strong foundation.

Rays vs Brewers World Series Game 2 Starting Pitchers

MLB’s probable pitchers confirm Rasmussen for Tampa Bay and Henderson for Milwaukee.

Henderson actually had the better regular-season ERA. In October, though, Rasmussen has been the more effective arm, and his 23-to-3 strikeout-to-walk ratio is the widest gap in this matchup.
