- My college football DFS picks cover Saturday’s 12-game main slate and a $50,000 DraftKings cap
- A top-five game in the noon window carries two of the eight spots
- Keep reading for the full CFB DFS lineup, every salary and the reasoning on each pick
College football DFS asks you to fill a quarterback, two running backs, three receivers, a flex and a superflex under a $50,000 cap. Saturday’s main slate runs 12 games starting at noon ET on Oct. 17.
I paid up at one receiver spot and hunted value everywhere else. If you’re weighing DFS apps, these salaries are specific to DraftKings Classic.
Here’s my full Week 7 lineup, followed by the reasoning on all eight picks.
CFB DFS Picks: Week 7 DraftKings Lineup
That leaves $500 unspent, and four of these eight play in the noon window, so this DraftKings lineup locks early.

CFB DFS Picks: Ethan Grunkemeyer ($7,000)
- Ethan Grunkemeyer, Virginia Tech vs. Georgia Tech
The Penn State transfer has completed 73.1% of his throws for 1,734 yards with 12 touchdowns, two interceptions and four more scores on the ground. Georgia Tech allows 205.8 passing yards per game, and Grunkemeyer already has a 434-yard afternoon on his ledger against Pitt.
CFB DFS Picks: J’Koby Williams ($6,700)
- J’Koby Williams, Texas Tech vs. Arizona State
Williams leads the 5-0 Red Raiders with 373 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 63 carries, adding 19 receptions for 137 yards this season. Texas Tech comes off a bye as a home favorite in the college football odds against an Arizona State defense allowing 136.2 rushing yards per game.
CFB DFS Picks: Kendrick Raphael ($6,100)
- Kendrick Raphael, SMU vs. Virginia
Raphael has 418 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 77 carries for the 24th-ranked Mustangs, including a career-best 197 yards and three scores at Louisville. SMU is a 9.5-point home favorite at noon, and that script is exactly what I want from a midpriced back in my college football fantasy picks.
CFB DFS Picks: Jeremiah Smith ($9,700)
- Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State at Indiana
Smith has 48 catches for 916 yards and 11 touchdowns while averaging 152.7 yards per game, and he accounts for 51.7% of Ohio State’s passing yardage. He went for eight catches and 144 yards against Indiana in last year’s Big Ten title game, so the matchup has not slowed him before. If you prefer a receiving-yard pick to his $9,700 salary, the PrizePicks promo code is another option to explore.
CFB DFS Picks: Nick Marsh ($7,200)
- Nick Marsh, Indiana vs. Ohio State
The Michigan State transfer has 29 receptions for 528 yards and six scores, and he caught both Indiana touchdowns at Nebraska last week including a 75-yard strike. Pairing him with Smith is a bet on a game that gets thrown, since both defenses are stout up front and Indiana allows just 2.31 yards per carry.
CFB DFS Picks: Jalen Cooper ($4,300)
- Jalen Cooper, SMU vs. Virginia
Cooper caught all eight of his targets for a career-high 125 yards against Missouri State and opened the season with a 50-yard touchdown at Florida State. SMU throws for 341 yards a game, so the second option in that offense carries real upside at a CFB DFS price under $4,500.
CFB DFS Picks: Quinten Joyner ($3,000)
- Quinten Joyner, Texas Tech vs. Arizona State
Joyner has found the end zone twice on 35 carries, including a 30-yard touchdown run at Colorado on a season-high 10 totes. He works behind Cameron Dickey and Williams, so the path is Texas Tech building a lead and leaning on the ground game late, which is a fine ask at the cheapest salary here.
CFB DFS Picks: Bryce Underwood ($5,500)
- Bryce Underwood, Michigan vs. Penn State
Underwood earns the superflex spot with his legs, carrying 57 times for 212 yards and two scores to go with 881 passing yards and five touchdowns. Michigan is a 6.5-point favorite over a Penn State team that has dropped three straight, and a quarterback who runs this much gives the lineup a second scoring route.
