Week 2 CFB Player Prop Pick #1: Jaylin Carter Over 89.5 Rushing Yards
Carter followed a 97-yard opener at UNLV with 183 yards and four touchdowns against Arkansas State. He has turned 34 carries into 280 yards, giving Memphis a big-play threat who has also handled at least 15 attempts in both games.
I like the Over at an estimated 89.5 yards because Carter does not need to maintain his early 8.2 yards per carry to get there. Another 17-carry afternoon at 5.5 yards per attempt would put him around 94 yards. His workload offers a path to clearing this number even with a substantial drop in efficiency.
Manny Covey remains part of the equation after taking 15 carries against Arkansas State. That limits Carter’s ceiling, but the Tigers have generated 530 rushing yards across two games with room for both backs. I’m backing Carter’s established share of that rushing attack rather than banking on another long touchdown run.

Week 2 CFB Player Prop Pick #2: Cutter Boley Over 229.5 Passing Yards
Boley shredded Morgan State for 387 yards and six touchdowns in his Arizona State debut. The competition gets considerably tougher at Kyle Field, but I like his passing-yardage potential in a game that should demand more from the Sun Devils’ offense.
National Championship odds contender Texas A&M held Missouri State to just 67 total yards in a 50-0 shutout. I’m not expecting Boley to reproduce his opening-week efficiency against that defense. The appeal is volume: a competitive game should give him more reason to keep throwing than the 70-7 rout did.
Around 33 attempts at 7.3 yards per attempt would put Boley near 241 yards, enough to clear my estimated 229.5 line. Protection is the biggest concern, and the margin would shrink considerably with a number closer to 250. At this estimate, I lean toward Boley’s passing volume carrying the Over. Week 2 CFB Player Prop Pick #3: Maddux Madsen Under 249.5 Passing Yards
Maddux Madsen threw three touchdowns against Oregon, which is more production that some of the current Heisman Trophy odds candidates. His yardage however, tells a different story: 181 yards on 15-of-29 passing. Memphis brings another pressure test after collecting nine sacks and four interceptions across its first two games.
I like the Under at an estimated 249.5 because Madsen would need a sizeable jump in production to clear it. Even 32 attempts at seven yards per attempt would leave him around 224 yards. Memphis’s ability to disrupt the pocket gives me a reason to expect some stalled possessions.
The Tigers have allowed 308 passing yards per game, so this is not a blanket endorsement of their secondary. A high-volume passing game could beat the Under. Still, with nearly 250 yards to work with at this estimated line, I prefer the pressure matchup over chasing Madsen’s touchdown total from the opener.
