  • The Kentucky Derby will take place on May 4th in Louisville
  • Celebrities will flock to Millionaires’ Row
  • The only thing better than seeing celebs is betting on them to be at Churchill Downs

Well over 150,000 fans will descend on Churchill Downs in Louisville for the Kentucky Derby on May 4th. Among the masses will be plenty of familiar faces.

Oddsmakers are giving you the chance to wager on which celebs will or will not make an appearance, and we are here to break down the betting options.

Two of the bigger racing fans among famous athletes are recently retired Patriots’ tight end Rob Gronkowski, and the man that made him famous, Tom Brady. Both have been known to enjoy themselves at the Derby before. But who will show this year?

Will Tom Brady & Rob Gronkowski Attend the 2019 Kentucky Derby?

Will Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski Attend the Kentucky Derby? Odds
Tom yes, Gronk no +200
Tom no, Gronk yes +400
Tom no, Gronk no +600
Tom yes, Gronk yes -200

*Odds taken 04/18/19

Brady has been a regular at the Derby, though last year he skipped out. Gronk has been known to party in Louisville come Derby season and he even bought stock in a horse named for him in 2018. This year Brady was asked to be the Grand Marshall at the Pegasus Parade, but there is no word whether he is going to do so or not which is a little strange.

Let’s be honest: Gronk is retired, so why wouldn’t he attend? If they both go the odds are -200, no thanks. Let’s take a shot on Brady has matured and is taking care of his body until he retires, and Gronk shows at 4/1.

Which Celebrities Will Attend the 2019 Kentucky Derby?

Who Will Attend the Kentucky Derby? Yes Odds No Odds
Jennifer Lawrence -500 +300
Thanos (Josh Brolin)  -120  +300
Any Kardashian -700 +300
Shazam (Zachary Levi) -200 +300

Let’s be real, everyone is on this list for a good reason and if you have an excuse to party at the Kentucky Derby, why wouldn’t you?

Lawrence is a local, a regular at the event, and last year was raising big dough for her charity at the race. Even if that promotion isn’t taking place this year, she’s likely to be present.

While the Kardashian clan isn’t from Kentucky, if there are TV cameras around and fashion to be flaunted, they’ll have a representative or two. But what will Kim wear?

While the Kardashian clan isn’t from Kentucky, if there are TV cameras around and fashion to be flaunted, they’ll have a representative or two.

Brolin might not be a Derby regular, but he has been there before, and with Avengers: Endgame debuting the week before the Kentucky Derby, it is a great place to great free publicity.

Shazam will have been out a month when the horses reach the starting gate, and we are not aware that Levi has been to the Derby before. If we were to bet against one celeb attending, he’d be the one.
