Kalshi Named Official Prediction Market Partner of U.S. Open

Kalshi and the United States Tennis Association this week announced the operator as the official prediction market partner of the U.S. Open.

The new multi-year partnership will begin with the 2026 U.S. Open Singles Main Draw. Kalshi will have a presence throughout this year’s tournament across U.S. Open digital platforms and on-court signage.

“We’re relentless about keeping tennis at the cutting edge of global sports innovation and fan connection,” United States Tennis Association (USTA) CEO Craig Tiley said in a press release. “Partnering with Kalshi gives us an opportunity to pioneer that next generation of fan engagement while ensuring the integrity of our sport.”

Protective Framework for U.S. Open

The partnership comes at a time when tennis market are very popular on Kalshi’s platform. The prediction market operator reported tennis-related volume is up 25-times year-over-year.

“Every summer the US Open takes over New York, and as a New York company, we’re proud to be part of it. Tennis is one of the fastest-growing sports on Kalshi, with fans using our markets to understand what’s happening throughout the tournament,” Kalshi co-founder and CEO Tarek Mansour said. “We’re proud to partner with the USTA to give fans even more ways to engage with the game they love. That’s the standard for how leagues and prediction markets should partner.”

Kalshi and the USTA have established a comprehensive framework for the tournament, designed to protect competitive fairness. Under the agreement, markets that present an integrity risk, such as those involving umpire decisions, player injuries, and code violations, will be restricted from the platform.

Kalshi also announced a confidential data-sharing agreement with the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) for real-time market surveillance,

Expanded Professional Sports Partnerships

The Kalshi and USTA partnership comes a week after the prediction market operator announced brand partnerships with five MLB franchises.

Kalshi announced multi-year brand partnerships with the Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, and San Francisco Giants.

The partnerships include in-stadium signage, plus social, online, radio, and fan activations. For instance, the Dodgers partnership will allow Kalshi to include company LED signage around Dodger Stadium, as well as grant the operator the naming rights for the stadium’s Gold Glove Bar.

Additionally, Dodgers fans will have access to Kalshi-specific offers and on-site activations throughout the season in Centerfield Plaza.
