So we meet again.
It’s a Christmas tradition inside the NBA’s Christmas showcase: LeBron vs the Warriors.
These two entities will be the marquee matchup for the fourth straight season, with the Dubs currently up 2-1 in the showdowns.
We’ve explored the betting world to find some of the most enticing Lakers-Warriors player props for you to choose from, and there are some doozies. Let’s get to them.

Prop #1: LeBron and Curry Head-to-Head
Who Will Score More Points on Christmas Day? | Odds 1 |
---|---|
LeBron James | +100 |
Steph Curry | -130 |
*All odds taken 12/25
LeBron James is literally a cyborg: you can pencil him in for his usual 27, 7, and 7 for the last 12 years or so.
He’s had some big games in his first year as a Laker, potting 51 in a win in Miami and going for over 30+ points 10 times already this season.
LeBron James put up 51 in Miami tonight! 😱

But Curry has been mercurial. He too has a 50-point game on his resume this season, and he has 11 30+ point games too – only he’s done that in 11 less games this year due to injury.

The Warriors have a thin roster this season, so Curry can’t really coast in games and just break the seal in case of emergency. He has to be on and productive for the Warriors to be successful.

It’s a nice little rivalry and there’s no love lost between the two, so expect both to be ready to perform. LeBron will fill the stat sheet like a bucket of water, but Curry will outscore him.
Pick: Steph Curry (-130)
Prop #2: Kyle Kuzma Will Outshoot Klay Thompson
Who will make more 3pt Field Goals? | Odds 2 |
---|---|
Kyle Kuzma | +118 |
Klay Thompson | -152 |
It seems like blasphemy to pick someone to shoot better than one of the splash brothers, especially one that has a blistering 52-point game under his belt this year, setting the all-time record for threes in the process.

But that’s where we are with this oddity of a year for Klay Thompson.
Even though he’s averaging 21.5 points per game on the year, he’s clearly the third banana to Curry and Kevin Durant.
Through 34 games, he’s already been held with out a three-point make six times. Last year, he didn’t go 0-from-beyond the arc until game 43.
Though he’s only shooting it at slightly better than 33% this month, Kuzma has been more consistent, failing to record a three-point make just once.
Kyle Kuzma had a huge hand in the Lakers' season-high 16 3-pointers, splashing 4 of his own and assisting on 3 more.
Includes this trey off a mountainous pick from Tyson Chandler, who starts celebrating with the ball still mid-air.

It’s a nice little value find for the Laker youngster that the team is probably most likely wanting to keep around if a trade offer presents itself.
Pick: Kyle Kuzma (+118)
Prop #3: Kevin Durant Will Deliver on Christmas Day
Will KD score at least 32 points? | Odds 2 |
---|---|
Yes | +110 |
Don’t be alarmed that Durant has only cracked 32 points or better three times in eight Christmas day games.
This season has been KD’s most lethal as a scorer since his MVP year, when he had to carry the brunt of the load when Russell Westbrook got injured.
He’s also been his surliest.

With Steph Curry missing 11 games, Durant has acquitted himself as the most complete scorer in basketball. Better yet, he’s been able to keep up his torrid pace while Steph is back in the lineup and getting his.

Throw out an 11-point dud against Milwaukee, and Durant has averaged better than 28 a game since Curry returned, and scored better than 30+ in three of his last five games.
Pick: Kevin Durant to Score 32+ Points
