As Week 9 of the NFL season begins, my strategy relies on finding a distinct edge within the NFL player props. This week, I am looking at playmakers riding massive statistical waves. New York Giants wideout Malik Nabers has been virtually unstoppable, crushing NFL receiving yards props by exceeding 71.5 yards in four straight games. Out of the backfield, Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs is a dual-threat nightmare, clearing 133.5 combined yards in four of his last five.

Below, I have isolated the five strongest data-backed trends to target in Week 9.

Matthew Stafford – Over 33.5 Pass Attempts

Matthew Stafford has exceeded 33.5 passing attempts in seven of his last eight games on the road.

Averaging a massive 42.6 passing attempts per game in this split, Stafford carries the offensive load away from home. Spanning the 2025 and 2026 seasons, this 87.5% hit rate provides a massive edge for NFL passing attempts props. The Los Angeles Rams head to Landover this weekend to face a Washington Commanders defense forcing opponents into high-volume air raid offense scripts.

The Commanders yield 26.0 points and 243.0 passing yards per game. Stafford’s excellent pocket presence allows him to evade pressure and secure crucial third down conversions. The Rams will need to air it out to win the field position battle.

Current Prop: Over 33.5 Pass Attempts (-125 at BetMGM) – CLAIM THE BETMGM PROMO CODE.

Rachaad White – Under 62.5 Rush+Rec Yards

Rachaad White has failed to exceed 62.5 combined rushing and receiving yards in eight straight games at home.

With a flawless 100% fade rate over his last eight home contests across the 2025 and 2026 campaigns, White averages a mere 40.8 combined yards per game. The Commanders backfield dynamics and the rushing prowess of quarterback Jayden Daniels heavily cap his overall volume. He splits touches, and passing down work is never guaranteed.

Going up against a Rams defense allowing just 109.3 rushing yards per game, this shapes up to be a tough battle for White. This matchup makes his NFL rushing + receiving yards props line one of the strongest unders on the board.

Current Prop: Under 62.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-115 at BetMGM)

Dak Prescott – Under 2.5 Passing Touchdowns

Dak Prescott has failed to exceed 2.5 passing touchdowns in 13 of his last 15 games.

Hitting the under at an 86.7% clip across the last two years, Prescott averages just 1.5 passing touchdowns per game during this stretch. While the Indianapolis Colts defense gives up 27.8 points per game this year (third worst), expecting any quarterback to consistently toss three TD’s is a tall order.

The Cowboys frequently utilize a ground and pound approach in heavy formations when entering the scoring area. This scheme effectively suppresses Prescott’s red zone efficiency and passing touchdown ceiling. I am fading his NFL passing TD odds despite his strong overall yardage metrics.

Current Prop: Under 2.5 Passing TDs (-200 at DraftKings)

Justice Hill – Under 13.5 Rushing Yards

Justice Hill has failed to exceed 13.5 rushing yards in nine of his last ten games at home.

Operating strictly as a change-of-pace option, Hill averages only 5.6 rushing yards per game in this home split. He cashed the under 90% of the time across the 2025 and 2026 seasons. The Ravens vs Jaguars is featured in Week 9 on Thursday Night Football.

The Jaguars boast a dominant defensive scheme surrendering just 77.4 rushing yards per game (best in NFL). With Derrick Henry monopolizing the bulk of the carries, I expect Hill to stay quiet. Even if the weather turns damp during this outdoor affair, NFL rushing yards props heavily favor fading Hill on the ground, with the Ravens starting third string rookie QB Joe Fagnano.

Current Prop: Under 13.5 Rushing Yards (-110 at BetMGM)

Austin Hooper – Over 5.5 Receiving Yards

Austin Hooper has exceeded 6.5 receiving yards in eleven of his last twelve contests following a loss.

Hooper averages a sturdy 27.9 receiving yards per game in this bounce-back spot. He covers this alternative baseline at an elite 91.6% rate spanning the last two campaigns.

The Falcons face a Cincinnati Bengals defense allowing a generous 237.7 passing yards per game. With his current NFL longest reception props or standard yardage line set at just 5.5 yards, the veteran tight end merely needs to beat the defensive markers for one quick grab. He’s accumulated 6+ yards in six of eight affairs on the season. I am betting he gets that early look to blow over this total and cash my ticket.

Current Prop: Over 5.5 Receiving Yards (-120 at BetMGM)
