Three home teams on Thursday’s card have a sniper worth backing. The Oilers host the Ducks, the Jets welcome the Canucks, and the Canadiens face the Mammoth at the Bell Centre.
Draisaitl and Connor have 13 goals apiece, which puts both on the radar in the Rocket Richard Odds. Caufield has 10, and all three scored on Tuesday.
Here are my Thursday anytime goalscorer picks, plus the odds and numbers behind each one.
Thursday Anytime Goalscorer Odds (Nov. 5)
Draisaitl is the only favorite of the group at -120, about a 54.5% implied chance. Connor sits at +110, good for roughly a 47.6% shot.
Caufield carries the longest anytime goal price at +135, which translates to about a 42.6% chance.

Best NHL Player Props for Thursday
My NHL Player Props for Thursday lean on two things: shot volume and power-play work. Here’s how the three shooters compare.
1. Leon Draisaitl Anytime Goal vs Ducks
- Leon Draisaitl Anytime Goal (-120 at FanDuel)
Draisaitl’s 13 goals in 16 games make him my first NHL anytime goalscorer pick against Anaheim.
He’s turning 22.8% of his 57 shots into goals. Seven of his 13 have come on the power play, so more than half his damage happens with the man advantage.
That held up Tuesday against the Devils. Draisaitl scored on the power play, put four shots on net and logged 22:46 in a 4-3 shootout loss.
2. Kyle Connor Anytime Goal vs Canucks
- Kyle Connor Anytime Goal (+110 at FanDuel)
Connor is my favorite anytime goal scorer prop on the board. He’s at plus money while firing 4.25 shots per game, the most of these three.
His 19.1% shooting is the lowest of the group, but he doesn’t need a hot stick when he’s putting this many pucks on net. Six of his 13 goals have come on the power play.
Tuesday’s 5-4 overtime win over Montreal showed his ceiling. Connor scored twice on eight shots, including a power-play goal, and played 27:50.
3. Cole Caufield Anytime Goal vs Mammoth
- Cole Caufield Anytime Goal (+135 at FanDuel)
Caufield wraps up my anytime goalscorer picks at the best price of the three. He has 10 goals in 15 games and converts 20.8% of his shots.
He was on the other side of that Jets game Tuesday and scored twice, both on the power play. Those were his first two power-play goals of the season, so the Habs are starting to get him going with the extra man.
He’s averaging 18:40 a night, the lightest workload here. Still, 3.2 shots per game and a quick release give him plenty of looks at +135.
