Bengals vs Browns Props #1: Nick Chubb & Joe Mixon Rush Yards

Let’s start with Cleveland’s bread-and-butter run game, centring around Chubb, who cracked this total 13 times in 17 games last season. If there’s a pause, it has to do with his second matchup with these Bengals, where he was limited to 34 yards on 14 carries.

However, it’s a real change when he’s up against Cincy at home, including their first matchup on Halloween, when he ran for 101 yards and two scores in a 32-13 drubbing of their state rivals. In fact, he’s recorded 101+ rushing yards in four of the Browns’ last five home games against the Bengals.

As for Mixon, expect him to be the beneficiary of a slow Burrow start. A calf injury cost the Bengals’ QB any game reps in the preseason, and leaning on Mixon should be part of the formula in Week 1.

Prop Picks:

  • Chubb OVER 76.5 rush yards (-120); 1 unit to win 0.83 units
  • Mixon OVER 56.5 yards receiving (-110); 1.5 units to win 0.91 units

Bengals vs Browns Props #2: Joe Burrow TD Passes

While Cleveland is hoping to a return to form for Deshaun Watson, the Bengals know what they have in Burrow, who they just inked to a 5-year, $275 million deal, making him the highest-paid player in the NFL.

Joe Cool threw for at least two scores in 11 games last season, including eight times in the final 11 regular season games.

Better yet, he hit the over in two matchups with the Browns a year ago, and has gone for at least two TD passes against Cleveland in four of five career appearances.

Prop Pick:

  • Burrow OVER 1.5 TD passes (-145); 1.5 units to win 1.04 units

Bengals vs Browns Touchdown Scorer Odds

Nothing to get cute about here: roll with the big dogs.

Chubb (-150) has scored at least one touchdown in each of the Browns’ last five games as home underdogs.

The Bengals’ stud receivers should also be highly touted here.

Ja’Marr Chase (+100) has scored at least one touchdown in six of his last seven appearances with the Bengals as favorites, while Tee Higgins (+155) has scored a touchdown in each of the Bengals’ last three regular season road games. We’ll take the better juice between the two in our Week 1 NFL player props.

Prop Picks:

  • Higgins ANYTIME TD scorer (+155); 1 unit to win 1 unit
