The freefalling and shorthanded Tennessee Titans host the Dallas Cowboys and CeeDee Lamb at 8:15 p.m. ET on Thursday Night Football at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. Is Lamb worth a play in your TNF Cowboys vs Titans props? Read on to find out.

The Titans (7-8) had their losing streak extended to five games on Sunday when they fell to the visiting Houston Texans 19-14. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle) will miss his second straight game and Derrick Henry (hip), who is second in the NFL in rushing, is listed as doubtful. That could mean backup Hassan Haskins comes into play for TNF props.

The Cowboys (11-4) beat the NFL-best Philadelphia Eagles 40-34 on Sunday at home for their fourth win in the last five games. Lamb has 1,207 receiving yards, which is eighth in the league.

Tennessee is tied with the Jacksonville Jaguars for first place in the AFC South. Dallas has clinched a playoff berth and has an outside chance of catching the Eagles (13-2) for the NFC East title.

Odds as of December 29th at BetMGM

The receiving yardage over/under is 71.5 for Lamb and 23.5 for the Titans’ Robert Woods. The Cowboys are favored by 11 points and the over/under is 40 in the NFL odds.

The weather forecast calls for mostly cloudy, a low of 51, and south winds at 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. The game will be streamed by Amazon Prime Video.

TNF Prop #1: Dak Prescott Passing Yardage

Quarterback Dak Prescott has played a big role in his team’s offensive surge. The Cowboys are averaging an NFL-best 36 points over their last 10 games.

That has come after Prescott missed five straight games with a thumb injury.

Prescott, who is a +50000 longshot in the NFL MVP odds, has had five games this season in which he has completed at least 75% of his passes. That is tied with the Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Burrow for the league lead.

Dak Prescott Passing Last 5 Games

Game Comp/Att Yards TDs/INTs
12/24 Eagles 27/35 347 3/1
12/18 Jaguars 23/30 256 3/2
12/11 Texans 24/39 284 1/2
12/4 Colts 20/30 170 3/1
11/24 Giants 21/30 261 2/2

Prescott has thrown 10 touchdown passes over the last four games. Though that is somewhat offset by him throwing a league-worst 11 interceptions since Week 7.

However, Prescott is set up to have a big game against a Titans defense that is 29th in the league against the pass. Look for him to shine in primetime.

Pick: Dak Prescott Over 235.5 Passing Yards -115 (1 unit)

TNF Prop #2: Treylon Burks Receiving Yards

Rookie Malik Willis will mark his fourth start of the season at quarterback for the Titans. His results so far have been underwhelming.

Willis’ top single-game passing yardage total is 99, which came last week in the loss to the Texans. He completed just 14 of 23 attempts with no touchdowns and two interceptions.

The pressure will likely be even higher this week as Willis is unlikely to have Henry to lean on. That can’t be a comforting thought for the Titans, who have an injury-riddled offensive line and are going up against the Cowboys’ defense, which has an NFL-best 30 takeaways.

Willis targeted fellow rookie Treylon Burks just twice last week and the first-round pick did not have a reception. The two have yet to establish a connection as Burks was injured when Willis made his first two starts in Weeks 8 and 9.

Though the receiving yardage prop is very low, fading Burks is the way to go in your Cowboys vs Titans props.

Pick: Treylon Burks Under 21 Receiving Yards -120 (1 unit)

Cowboys vs Titans Touchdown Scorer Props

Player Odds to Score 1st TD Odds to Score Any TD
Ezekiel Elliott (DAL) +400 -155
Tony Pollard (DAL) +400 -155
CeeDee Lamb (DAL) +600 +125
Derrick Henry (TEN) +700 -105
Hassan Haskins (TEN) +1100 +190

Michael Gallup (DAL) +1600 +300
Noah Brown (DAL) +1600 +320
DAL D/ST +1600 +320
Julius Chestnut (TEN) +1600 +310

TNF Prop #3: Ezekiel Elliott First Touchdown Scorer

Cowboys running back Tony Pollard was selected to his first Pro Bowl last week. However, backfield mate Ezekiel Elliott still gets the ball more frequently when the Cowboys are close to the goal line.

Elliott has a rushing touchdown in a career-best eight consecutive games. That is also the longest active streak in the NFL and makes dad proud.

The -155 odds for Elliott for an anytime touchdown don’t provide much value. So, let’s take a shot at him scoring the game’s first TD in our Cowboys vs Titans picks.

Ezekiel Elliott Anytime Touchdown Scorer +400 (0.5 units)

TNF Prop Bet Record: Week 16, 2-1. Overall: 19-32 (-11.1 units)
