The Miami Dolphins backed up their wild comeback win against the Ravens with an even more impressive win over the Bills.

Yet, somehow, the 3-0 Fins have opened as 1.5-point road underdogs when they visit the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night.

After starting the year at 0-2, the Bengals got into the win column with a blowout over the Jets in Week 3.

It all gets underway from Paycor Stadium, at 8:20pm ET, in a game that can be seen live on PRIME VIDEO.

Miami Downs Buffalo

No one was sure what to make of the Dolphins after a spectacular comeback win over the Ravens in Week 2. After staring down the Bills, who entered the game as the favorite in the 2023 Super Bowl odds, the answer is simple: legit.

Miami’s defense was the key, holding the high-octane Bills offense to just five points after halftime to hang on for a 21-19 win.

They found a way to get at Buffalo pivot Josh Allen, sacking him four times. Allen was sacked just three times across the first two games. One sack forced a fumble deep in Bills territory, leading to a Chase Edmonds rushing score, the first of two on the day.

There were no fireworks for for Tua Tagovailoa, who finished 13-for-18 for 186 yards and a TD pass.  In fact, he needed to leave the game before halftime after his head bounced on the turf after being pushed down by Matt Milano.

It may have come as a surprise as Tua returned in the second half, as he was visibly shaken after that play, including running and stumbling to the ground and needing to be helped up by teammates.

Cincinnati Into Win Column

It took three games, but the Bengals are finally into the win column after a 27-12 win over the New York Jets. After losing to the quarterback tandem of Mitch Trubisky and Cooper Rush. Joe Burrow had his best game of the year, going 23-for-36 for 275 yards and three touchdowns.

After throwing four interceptions in Week 1, Burrow has not thrown a pick in two straight games. The much-maligned offensive line also found their footing, holding the Jets to just two sacks. Burrow had been sacked 13 times through the first two games of the year.

The highly-touted receiving group was lethal, with Tyler Boyd leading the way with four grabs for 105 yards and a TD. Ja’Marr Chase had a team-leading six catches for 29 yards and a TD, while Tee Higgins had five grabs for 95 yards.

Because of the Bengals’ slow start offensively, the defense’s work hasn’t been much of a story, but they were good again Sunday, sacking Joe Flacco four times and intercepting him twice.

Through three games, Cincinnati is surrendering just 17.3 points per game.

Dolphins vs Bengals Line Prediction

At first glance, it does seem a little off that the Dolphins are an underdog. They’ve gone into Baltimore and beaten a solid Ravens’ squad, before downing the Bills at home.

The Dolphins are putting up over 27 points a game against the Bengals’ 21.3 average.

Perhaps there’s a possibility Tagovailoa could have a concussion, and may have to miss the Thursday game with the short week.

If the thinking is that Cincinnati’s offense is catching up to their defense, keep in mind that the combined records of Cincinnati’s opposition thus far is 3-5, and two of the starting QB’s were backups.

If you’re picking Miami, now would be the right time to jump on this number, as there’s a distinct possibility this line is going to get shaved as we get closer to Thursday.
