Bijan Robinson & Kyle Pitts Will Have To Step Up

Here’s the thing about this game, I think the Kansas City Chiefs are going to play from ahead. At the very least, the game script will be neutral. Why is that important? Because, if that’s the case, the Falcons should be throwing more than they want to in this thing.

Lucky for us, Bijan Robinson has been a more than capable receiver from Day 1.

The Chiefs have only given up 114 yards to opposing running backs so far this season so Bijan could have issues running the ball tonight. Granted, the running backs Kansas City has seen so far are not quite Bijan-level but still. The point remains, the Falcons are going to want the ball in Bijan’s hands and, if they can’t hand it to him, they’ll throw it to him. We’ve seen them do that two weeks in a row.

Even if Bijan has success on the ground, the Chiefs could easily build a lead and force the Falcons to throw the ball more than they want to. In that scenario, Bijan is catching at least four balls. But we can’t just stop at Bijan here people. We need a little more to use this boost.

I know the haters are going to say no, but why not Kyle Pitts 3+ receptions. He has done this in two straight games. I get that he has had exactly three catches in both games, but still. All we need is three and no team in the NFL has allowed more receptions to the tight end position so far this season. If not now, then when?

Carson Steele Could Be Good

The unfortunate part of football is injuries happen. One minute you’re shredding defenses, the next, you’re on crutches. That’s exactly what happened to the Chiefs’ starting running back, Isaiah Pachecho last week. It sucked.

But in the NFL, one man’s pain is another man’s opportunity and people are saying the guy replacing Pacheco is actually good.

As the new lead back for the #Chiefs and the most sought after fantasy football free agent add this week, I’m excited for people to get to know Carson Steele.

I’ve probably seen as much film on Carson Steele as you have but he’s got a chance to get loose tonight. The Falcons don’t exactly have a stout run defense and the Chiefs should be playing this game from ahead. In a situation like that, it’s not crazy to think this kid can carry the ball 13+ times. If that happens, he could easily fly over 40 rushing yards. Feels right.
