Wild Card Weekend wraps up tonight with the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams. In the past, we didn’t get Monday Night Football games during the playoffs but now we do. It’s further proof that life just gets better as we evolve. To celebrate this evolution, we should definitely get a few bets in on this thing. After all, we can’t have these guys out there playing for nothing. Lucky for us, the read on this thing is as simple as can be. As always, player props are the attack surface and I found two that absolutely have no chance of losing. This could easily be the greatest night of our lives. Feels good.
Vikings vs Rams Player Prop Picks
Player | Receptions | Receiving Yards | Pick |
---|---|---|---|
Jalen Nailor (Vikings) | 1.5 (Ov -132 / Un -102) | 18.5 (Ov -113 / Un -113) | 25+ Receiving Yards (+140) |
Player | Receptions | Receiving Yards | Pick |
Puka Nacua (Rams) | 7.5 (Ov -128 / Un -102) | 89.5 (Ov -113 / Un -113) | 100+ Receiving Yards (+130) |
Both of today’s Vikings/Rams player props are plus-money bets on receivers hitting achievable overs, stating with Minnesota’s Jalen Nailor and finishing with LA’s Puka Nacua.

Jalen Nailor Is Better Than You Think
The first question most people ask themselves when they hear the name Jalen Nailor is “Who?” That’s fine, it’s nothing to be ashamed of. At the end of the day, ball-knowers are the only people who this guy is. It’s fine.
Ball knowers even call him, “one of the best players that nobody knows about”.

At some point, people are going to start catching on to this guy. You can only fly under the radar for so long before people start to figure out that you’re nasty. I think Jalen has hit that exact spot at this exact moment. He’s literally one game away from everyone knowing who he is. Even non-ball knowers.
Jalen Nailor kind of started flashing his junk early this season when Jordan Addison was out. The man caught a touchdown in each of the first three games this season. But as Addison got back up to speed, Nailor kind of faded to black. He was still there, just not showing out every week. But now, even though Addison is fully healthy and balling out himself, Nailor is still breaking out. It’s beautiful to watch.
Over the last two weeks, Nailor has been targeted nine times. With all the attention going to Justin Jefferson, this was bound to happen. The good news is, Nailor has turned those nine looks into a 8-134-1 stat line. What’s even better is, his longest reception in both games was at least 27 yards. Translation, he’ll go 25+ tonight on one reception. Feels right.

Puka Nacua Will Get Loose Tonight
I almost never bet a receiver to go over 100 receiving yards in a game for only +130. Generally speaking, we want at least +200 for a move like that. But, for every rule, there are exceptions.
In the NFL, there is one exception to my receiver rule, and his name is Puka Nacua.

Here’s the thing, there aren’t many Puka Nacua situations in the NFL. For starters, the kid is an absolute beast so we can’t take that away from him. On top of that, he plays with Matthew Stafford who has always fed his top dawg. Think Calvin Johnson in Detroit, and Cooper Kupp in LA. Those guys ate well with Matthew.
Well, now it’s Puka’s turn. He played 11 games and in four of those games, he saw at least 13 targets. That’s ridiculous. Not that he needs 13 targets to go over 100 yards, but it’s nice to think about. Especially when the Rams are playing the Minnesota Vikings.
On the season, only one team allowed more receiving yards to the wide receiver position than the Vikings. In fact, Puka saw them already this season and hung 106 yards on them. When push comes to shove tonight, I’d expect Matthew Stafford to lock in on Puka and stuff a bunch of cash in our pockets in the process. Feels right.
