A week ago, the Redskins were the favorites to land Rosen, but according to Adam Schefter, they’re no longer considered serious players.
On Schefter’s podcast this morning, Redskins were not mentioned in the running for Josh Rosen. He said Giants, Dolphins and Chargers as front runners.

Arizona is Not Actively Shopping Rosen
The biggest reason Rosen is still toiling on the Cardinals’ roster in uncertainty is because Arizona is not actively trying to trade him. Sure they’ll listen to offers, but they’re not initiating the conversation. According to various reports, the Cardinals haven’t called anyone regarding a trade for Rosen, which brings in to question their intentions on draft night.

It’s possible Arizona isn’t shopping him because they’re trying to conceal the fact that they’re drafting Murray, or perhaps they’re starting to sour on Murray and are considering keeping Rosen.

Murray to the Cardinals is No Longer a Lock
Several reports have emerged in the last week that the Cardinals are still undecided on who they’ll select first, and there’s a real possibility they could trade down or stand pat and select a defensive player.

Even if they do choose Kyler, the fact that a unanimous decision hasn’t been reached less than 48 hours before the draft explains why Arizona has been unwilling to accept a below market offer for Rosen.
“Trust me. They’re not going to trade him for 80 cents on the dollar. They’ve given up too much to just ship him off for nothing. There’s absolutely a chance the Cardinals finish Draft weekend with both Kyler Murray and Josh Rosen in their QB room.” – @PSchrags pic.twitter.com/G7L1kiRMLz

Don’t Sleep on the Chargers
If the Cardinals wind up drafting Murray, don’t sleep on the Chargers trying to get involved in the Rosen sweepstakes. Rosen is from the area, and Los Angeles will soon be in the market for the successor to Philip Rivers. At this point last year, Rosen projected to be a better player than all four of the QB’s currently expected to go in the first round, and sitting for a year or two behind Rivers could do wonders for his development.

The +1250 odds are very attractive, and the Chargers are the type of organization that will see plenty of value in acquiring an asset like Rosen.
Pick: LA Chargers (+1250)
