  • Read on for our best NFL parlays and teasers for Week 6

We’re scanning the NFL Week 6 card and picking out a few good candidates to include in our NFL Week 6 parlays and teasers.

Last week was tough, going 0-2. I should’ve known to not trust a team playing across the pond as the Packers were the banana skin that blew up the GB-MIN-KC parlay. With dogs covering at a 60 percent ATS clip through five weeks, parlays have been hard. Then one of the league’s highest-scoring teams, Detroit, got blanked 29-0 in New England and a third-string QB. Forget about covering the spread, they couldn’t even cover the +10.5 points I took on the teaser. This brings us to 3-7 on the year, -4.18 units,

Below we’ve picked out some teams to include for your NFL Week 6 parlays and teasers this weekend.

NFL Week 6 Parlay Picks

This NFL season has featured some of the most parity we’ve seen in recent years. It’s making picking out strong parlay picks and survivor selections tougher than usual. As such, let’s keep this NFL Week 6 parlay simple with this two-teamer.

Jets vs Packers

  • Pick: Packers

The Packers are 3-2 on the season, but in their two home games, they are 2-0. Last week would look like a home game on paper but it was in London where they fell 27-22 to the New York Giants as heavy favorites. They are again heavy favorites this week against the Jets. Green Bay and New York don’t play often and the Jets hold an 8-5 all-time record over the Packers. However, Green Bay has won each of the past three meetings. But, the last one came in 2018.

The Jets are coming off two-straight wins. But a win over Aaron Rodgers in Lambeau won’t be as easy as wins over Mitchell Trubisky and Kenny Pickett of Pittsburgh and Skylar Thompson of Miami. The run of third-string quarterbacks they’ll be facing ends here.

New York is ninth in passing YPG, but that is Green Bay’s strength as they’re second in passing yards allowed per game. The Packers’ two-headed monster of Aaron Jones and AJ Dhillon should find success on the ground as the league’s 11th-ranked rushing offense, going up against the Jets’ 16th run D. For what it’s worth in NFL team trends, no team has lost to both the Giants and Jets in the same season since 2019.

Backing Green Bay off a loss under Matt LaFleur has been money, as the Pack are 10-0 SU and in picks against the spread.

Buccaneers vs Steelers

  • Pick: Buccaneers

Kenny Pickett came on at half two weeks ago and despite throwing three INTs, he still gave the Steelers a spark, while losing 24-20 to the Jets. He got his first start last week and got thumped 38-3 to the Bills. His stat line looked ok, at 34/53 and 327 yards, but being down 10-3 after the first quarter and 31-3 at the half, meant Pittsburgh needed to abandon the running game. Pickett finished with zero TDs and 1 INT last week.

The Bills are the league’s second-ranked defense, and things don’t look to get much easier in Week 6 against the Bucs’ sixth-ranked unit. The Bucs are stronger against the pass, sixth, than the run 18th, but that may not help the Steelers as they are just 29th in rushing YPG.

Tom Brady and the Bucs may only be 19th in PPG with 20.6, but it still tops Pittsburgh’s 15.4 (30th). They’ll do enough to leave Steel Town with a W.

  • NFL Parlay Week 6 picks: Packers and Buccaneers to win (-161); risk 1.50 units

NFL Week 6 Teaser Odds

Matchup Pick (Teaser Odds)
Vikings vs Dolphins   Vikings -3 (teaser +5)
Cardinals vs Seahawks Seahawks +2.5 (teaser +10.5)
Panthers vs Rams  Rams -10 (teaser -2)
TOTAL ODDS -105

NFL Week 6 Teaser Picks

NFL betting sites such as Barstool Sportsbook, allow you to choose from a wide range of NFL teaser options. For this Week 6 teaser, we’re riding with three teams on an eight-point teaser. That brings the Rams down to under a field goal, bumps the Seahawks up to double-digit dogs, and brings the Vikings from favorites all the way to 5-point underdogs.

Vikings vs Dolphins

  • Pick: Vikings (+5)

Miami was already missing starting QB Tua Tagovailoa. Then last week backup Teddy Bridgewater attempted one pass before being knocked out of the game with head and elbow injuries. Skylar Thompson, a seventh-round rookie is next in line. You can’t blame him for Miami’s loss last week. But the stat line still wasn’t pretty. He was 19/33 for 166 yards and one interception. The Dolphins lost 40-17.

Thompson will have a week of practice and the Dolphins will be back at home, however, it may be too much to ask them to defeat the NFC North-leading Minnesota Vikings who are 4-1. Still, it’s Minnesota, and Kirk Cousins is unpredictable, so you can never feel too confident. But adding points to the Vikes and taking them at +5 in this NFL teaser makes me more confident.

Cardinals vs Seahawks

  • Pick: Seahawks (+10.5)

The Cardinals are 2.5-point favorites over the Seahawks in Week 6, but they are just 2-3 on the year, the same record as Seattle. Arizona’s two wins came in Las Vegas in overtime, 29-23 and in Carolina, 26-16. The Raiders win was a fluke comeback, the Panthers rank dead-last in offensive yards per game.

Seattle may be 2-3 but their score difference in their games has been 1, 20, 4, 3 and 7 points. Their three losses were by 20, 4 and 7 points. The Hawks’ offense ranks eighth in YPG. Geno Smith has thrown for the 12th-most passing yards and is tied for the seventh-most TDs with ten.

Win or lose, the Seahawks and Geno do enough at home to keep this one close in this Week 6 teaser.

Panthers vs Rams

  • Pick: Rams (-2)

Carolina is 1-4. They just fired their head coach Matt Rhule and trade rumors are swirling around a potential move for Christian McCaffrey. Oh, and starting quarter Baker Mayfield is out with a high ankle sprain. That last one could be argued is a positive as he was only 84/153 and 962 yards with four TDs and four INTs. That elevates PJ Walker to the starting role. He couldn’t play much worse could he? Well maybe he can. In his career he’s thrown for just two touchdowns, compared to eight interceptions.

The Rams aren’t much better at 2-3 and they’ve only scored a dismal ten and nine points (both losses), in the last two weeks. Those losses did come against teams with strong defenses though. The Cowboys rank seventh, while the 49ers rank first. The Panthers’ 23rd-ranked D will allow Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp and co. a little more time and space to maybe not cover as double-digit favorites, but as just 2-point chalk in this NFL Week 6 teaser.

  • NFL Teaser Week 6 picks (8 points): Vikings +5, Seahawks +10.5, Rams -2 (-105); risk 1 unit
