  • The Ravens are reportedly finalizing a Jacoby Brissett trade with the Cardinals
  • Brissett won’t be available Thursday, so Joe Fagnano starts against the Jaguars
  • Baltimore’s playoff chances remain well below their pre-injury level despite a Wednesday rebound

The Ravens playoff odds are back in focus as Baltimore reportedly finalizes a trade for Jacoby Brissett with Arizona. The deal is expected to be completed this weekend.

Lamar Jackson hurt his right thumb on the first offensive snap of Sunday’s 36-10 loss in Buffalo. He needs surgery and is headed to IR, with a season-ending absence still possible.

Tyler Huntley reportedly suffered season-ending turf toe in relief. Joe Fagnano starts Thursday against Jacksonville, with Brissett expected to debut against the Chargers afterward.

Ravens Playoff Odds After the Brissett Trade

TeamYes priceImplied probability
Baltimore Ravens23¢23%

Baltimore’s playoff Yes contract costs 23¢ on Kalshi, implying a 23% chance and roughly +335 American odds before fees. Baltimore remains an outsider in the NFL playoff odds.

Kalshi’s hourly history had the Ravens around 63% before Sunday’s Buffalo game, then about 22% that evening after the quarterback injuries. They fell further, trading near 13% Tuesday morning.

There has been a modest recovery Wednesday: the hourly figure rose from roughly 13% at 2 p.m. ET to 22% at 4 p.m. around the Brissett reports. That is still far below the pre-injury level.

Ravens Super Bowl Odds

TeamYes priceImplied probability
Baltimore Ravens1¢1%

Baltimore’s Super Bowl Yes contract costs 1¢ on Kalshi, while its last-traded probability displays below 1%. That 1¢ buy price implies a 1% chance. A winning contract pays $1, making it roughly equivalent to +9900 before fees.

Kalshi’s hourly history had Baltimore around 5% Saturday afternoon, then near 1% by Monday evening. It has stayed around that level over the last day. For context in the Super Bowl odds, the 49ers sit at 15¢, the Bills at 14¢ and the Bears at 12¢.

Brissett is 33 and in his 11th season. He started Arizona’s first eight games of 2026, throwing for 1,719 yards with 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

His time in Arizona ended rough. He was benched for Gardner Minshew II during last Sunday’s comeback win over Dallas, and on Monday head coach Mike LaFleur listed him third behind Minshew and rookie Carson Beck.

AFC North Odds

TeamYes priceImplied probability
Cincinnati Bengals55¢55%
Pittsburgh Steelers33¢33%
Cleveland Browns10¢10%
Baltimore Ravens5¢5%

The Ravens are 5¢ to win the AFC North, or about +1900, with the displayed probability at 4%. Cincinnati leads the AFC North odds at 55¢, followed by Pittsburgh at 33¢ and Cleveland at 10¢.

Baltimore’s AFC North price sat around 23% Saturday afternoon. After Jackson and Huntley went down in Buffalo, it fell to about 6% Sunday night and was around 3% Tuesday afternoon.

The big drop followed Jackson’s injury and surgery news. Baltimore is back around 4% Wednesday. Brissett offers some help, but acquiring a veteran backup does little to restore the Ravens’ outlook without Lamar.

Jaguars vs Ravens Thursday Night Football Odds

TeamYes priceImplied probability
Jacksonville Jaguars82¢82%
Baltimore Ravens19¢19%

The Jaguars are 82¢ to win Thursday, while the Ravens are 19¢ (about +426). Jacksonville to win by more than 9.5 points is 52¢, making Jacksonville roughly a 9.5-point favorite. The over 39.5 is 51¢.

The Jaguars vs Ravens Thursday Night Football matchup kicks off Nov. 5 at 8:15 p.m. ET at M&T Bank Stadium.

Brissett doesn’t change Thursday’s starter. With the trade not expected to wrap until the weekend, Fagnano is under center against Jacksonville.

Baltimore Ravens Playoff Prediction & Season Outlook

Baltimore needs the Brissett who threw 23 touchdowns against eight interceptions last season. His 2026 numbers—10 touchdowns and seven picks—offer less encouragement.

SeasonStartsYardsTDINT

202681,719107

Brissett gives the Ravens a proven passer starting with the Chargers game. I’m not chasing Baltimore’s playoff, Super Bowl or AFC North odds off this deal, though. A 4-4 team sitting fourth in the division needs a lot more than a steady backup, and the long prices line up with that.

Kalshi playoff buy price checked Nov. 4 at 3:56 p.m. ET; other buy prices at 3:28 p.m. ET. Prices can change. See our Kalshi promo code guide and where Kalshi is legal.
