Seahawks Thin at TE, CB, Along Offensive Front

It’s looking as though Seattle starting LT Charles Cross (toe) won’t be playing, even though he’s listed as doubtful. He’s been out since suffering his injury in the Week 1 loss to the Rams, and Cross isn’t expected back prior to Week 6, when the Seahawks return from their bye week.

Both of Seattle’s ailing TEs – starter Noah Fant (knee) and backup Will Dissly (shoulder) – are expected to play, as is C Evan Brown (quadriceps). On defense, starting RDE Dre’Mont Jones (hip) and backup LB Derick Hill (knee) are also trending toward playing.

Seattle’s CB depth is also hurting. Backup LCB Coby Bryant (toe) is doubtful, while backup RCB Tre Brown (concussion) and third-string LCB Artie Burns (hamstring) are out.

New York Giants Injury Report

Player-Position Injury Game Status
Saquon Barkley-RB Ankle Doubtful

Aaron Robinson-CB Knee Out (PUP)

Barkley Unlikely to Suit Up for Giants

Even with the extra rest following their Week 3 TNF loss to the 49ers, all signs are still pointing to Barkley sitting out his second straight game. He hurt his ankle in Week 2 at Arizona.

Brewer will be missing for a third successive game. However, the Giants are slowly getting healthier, reporting no new injuries this week.

How Could Injuries Affect Seahawks vs Giants Betting Lines?

Minus Barkley, Matt Breida and Gary Brightwell were carrying the ball and the load in the Giants backfield at San Francisco. Should you be looking at either player in the Seahawks vs Giants props? Considering they combined for 22 yards on eight carries, if you do, play the under.

Minus Brewer, Joshua Ezeudu will make his third start of the season and fifth of his NFL career at LT for the Giants. It will be second-year man Stone Forsythe making his third start in a row and fourth of his career at LT for Seattle in place of Cross.

With so many CB on the shelf, at least the Seahawks were getting some good news at safety. Upon his return to his old haunts where he used to play for the New York Jets, Seattle SS Jamal Adams (knee) was cleared from any injury designation. He was a full participant in practice on Friday.

It’s also vital that Jones will be good to go for Seattle. His backup Mike Morris is already on IR with a shoulder injury.
