The Buffalo Bills looked every bit the top-seed in the AFC after Week 1.
Their Week 2 opponent, the Tennessee Titans, coughed up a home opening loss to the Giants, and last year’s top seed in the AFC appears to be on shaky ground — they enter Buffalo as 10-point underdogs.
It makes for an interesting clash on Monday Night Football, and one that presents plenty of star power for player prop betting.
It all gets underway from Highmark Stadium at 7:15pm ET, in a game that can be seen live on ESPN.
Weather shouldn’t be a factor, with clear skies and temperatures expected around 69 degrees at kickoff.
Let’s run down the available NFL player props and a few of our favorite picks.

Odds as of September 19th at DraftKings Sportsbook
In the odds above, Josh Allen is favored to over 1.5 TD passes, while Ryan Tannehill is favored to stay under the same mark.
The highest rushing total is given to Derrick Henry at 84.5 yards, and the highest receiving total goes to Buffalo’s top wideout, Stefon Diggs, at 69.5 yards.

Prop #1: Josh Allen Rush Yards
It was another outstanding performance from Josh Allen both in the air and on the ground in a 31-10 evisceration of the Rams in Week 1. He threw for 297 yards and three touchdowns, while also leading the team in rushing with 56 yards on 10 totes, and another score.
Allen has now bettered 56 yards rushing or more in Buffalo’s last six games, but all signs are pointing to Tennessee shutting down the favorite in the 2023 NFL MVP odds.
No stopping @JoshAllenQB.

In the last two meetings between the Bills and Titans, Tennessee head coach Mike Vrabel has found a way to contain Allen’s run game, part of the reason they’ve won both games.
Last year, Tennessee escaped with a 34-31 win October 12, holding Allen to 26 yards on nine totes. It was his easily the lowest output of the year with eight or more carries.
In 2020, the Titans hammered the Bills 42-16, limiting Allen to 18 yards on four carries.

In fact, in the past two seasons, Tennessee has only allowed one QB to break the 41.5 yard threshold set for Allen — which was Lamar Jackson, who’s done it twice.
Allen will still be effective Monday night, just primarily as a pocket passer. I’d lean to him cruising past the passing yards total.
Picks:
- Josh Allen UNDER 41.5 rush yards (-115); 1 unit to win 0.87 units
- Josh Allen OVER 262.5 pass yards (-115); 1 unit to win 0.87 units

Prop #2: Stefon Diggs Receiving Yards
Diggs is coming off a brilliant performance in the opener against the Rams, hauling in a team-high eight balls for 122 yards and a score. While he didn’t do it all against all-world corner Jalen Ramsey, it’s fair to say Ramsey was in the vicinity for a lot of those catches, including a 53-yard TD grab to put the game on ice.
The Bills’ top pass catcher has had success against the Titans too. In his last three starts against Tennessee, Diggs has gone for at least 89 receiving yards or better.
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!

— Buffalo Bills (@BuffaloBills) September 9, 2022
Last year, he had nine grabs for 89 yards and a score. In their 2020 meeting, he was targeted 16 times, making 10 receptions for 106 yards. As a member of the Vikings in 2016, Diggs made seven catches for 103 yards.
The Titans do have a good defensive backfield, but no one on the level of Ramsey, and last week, Sterling Shepard of the Giants crossed this total. Look for Diggs to stay hot against the Titans.
Pick:
- Stefon Diggs OVER 69.5 receiving yards (-115); 1 unit to win 0.87 units
Titans vs Bills Scoring Props
Player | Odds to Score 1st TD | Odds to Score Any TD |
---|---|---|
Stefon Diggs (BUF) | +650 | +100 |
Derrick Henry (TEN) | +900 | +100 |
Gabriel Davis (BUF) | +700 | +115 |
Josh Allen (BUF) | +750 | +120 |
Devin Singletary (BUF) | +750 | +125 |
Dawson Knox (BUF) | +850 | +140 |
Isaiah McKenzie (BUF) | +950 | +155 |
Jamison Crowder (BUF) | +1300 | +220 |
Zack Moss (BUF) | +1400 | +240 |
Robert Woods (TEN) | +2500 | +350 |
Treylon Burks (TEN) | +2500 | +350 |
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (TEN) | +2800 | +390 |
There are no players favored at odds-on to score an anytime touchdown on Sunday. Receivers Diggs and Gabriel Davis have the best odds for Buffalo, while Henry is at +100 for the Titans.
Titans vs Bills Touchdown Scorer Odds
Plus odds on a Derrick Henry anytime score? Yes please. The Titans’ back is coming off a zero TD effort against the Giants, but he’s found paydirt in seven straight games against AFC East opponents. He ran wild in the last meeting between these teams, going for 143 yards and three majors.

There’s great odds for Ryan Tannehill as well, especially since he’s scored TD’s in three straight games against the Bills. At +425, it may be worth a splash to see that patented finger roll celebration.
On Buffalo’s side, Diggs has scored a TD in four the Bills’ last five regular season games.
Pick:
- Ryan Tannehill anytime TD scorer (+425); 1 unit to win 4.25 units
- Derrick Henry anytime TD scorer (+100); 0.5 units to win 0.5 units
