Cowboys TD Pick Over Raiders

The Cowboys are the biggest favorites on the board this week at 7 points despite losing to the Chiefs 19-9 on Sunday in Kansas City for their second defeat in three games.

No other Week 12 spread is larger than 4.5 points.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was held to 216 yards passing and intercepted twice. One of the picks came in the end zone by Charvarius Ward.

Prescott was also missing a lot of help. Left tackle Tyron Smith sat out his third straight game with an ankle injury, Amari Cooper tested positive for COVID-19 and fellow wide receiver CeeDee Lamb sustained a concussion just before halftime.

The Raiders’ losing streak reached three games as they were handled at home by the Cincinnati Bengals 32-13. The Raiders were held to 278 total yards, their third-lowest figure of the season.

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr finished 19 of 27 for 215 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Tight end Darren Waller caught seven passes for 116 yards

Falcons-Jaguars Nearly Even

The smallest line is one point, which the visiting Atlanta Falcons (4-6) are favored by over the Jacksonville Jaguars

The Falcons are favorites despite losing their last two games by a combined score of 68-3. They were blanked 25-0 by the New England Patriots in Week 11 on Thursday night in Atlanta.

The Falcons were shut out for the first time since 2015. Matt Ryan was 19-of-28 passing for just 153 yards while being intercepted twice and sacked four times.

The Jaguars were hammered 30-3 by the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday at Jacksonville.

The 49ers scored on each of their first five possessions. Midway through the second quarter, San Francisco had run 33 of the game’s first 37 plays and had more first downs (14) than the Jaguars had yards (12).

The 49ers sacked Trevor Lawrence three times.

High and Lows

The largest opening total is 51.5 points for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ visit to the Indianapolis Colts. The under has been the winning play in three of the Buccaneers’ last four games while four of the Colts’ past five games have gone over the total.

The Bears-Lions matchup has the lowest over/under at 42.5. Seven of the Bears’ 10 games this season have gone under, while the under has been the winning side in seven of the Lions’ last eight games.

Line Movement

Even though the Cowboys are the biggest favorites on this week’s slate, they are always a betting favorite of the public. So, despite Sunday’s loss, look for that line to go a little higher.

While the Jaguars are bad, the Falcons aren’t much better and it seems a little off for them be favored on the road. It would not be surprising if Jacksonville is the favorite by kickoff, especially playing at home.
