Favorites to Watch
Denny Hamlin (+1200)
The only active three-time Daytona 500 winner is seeking to join all-time greats Richard Petty and Cale Yarborough as a four-time champ. Hamlin has been a perennial contender at Daytona, though his odds have lengthened slightly from +1400 last week.
Ryan Blaney (+1200)
The 2023 Cup Series champion has a strong superspeedway track record, including winning the 2021 summer Daytona race. Now he looks to capture his first 500 victory. Blaney’s odds remain steady at +1200.
Kyle Busch (+1200)
Despite his Hall of Fame résumé, the two-time Cup champion is still chasing an elusive first Daytona 500 win as he makes his 20th attempt. Busch’s odds also hold at +1200 from Friday afternoon.
Brad Keselowski (+1500)
Although Keselowski has faced recent struggles, oddsmakers still consider him a leading contender to finally break through for his first Daytona 500 victory. However, his odds have drifted from +1400 to +1500 since last week.
Intriguing Longshots
Chase Briscoe (+2500)
The pole-sitter faces relatively long odds, but his front row starting position could prove advantageous if he avoids trouble. Briscoe has seen his odds shorten slightly from +2800.
Bubba Wallace (+2000)
Wallace has consistently run well in superspeedway races, notching multiple near-misses at Daytona. Might this be the year he puts it all together? His odds have improved from +2200 over the weekend.
Austin Cindric (+2000)
The 2022 Daytona 500 winner showed good speed during Daytona Speedweeks and appears to have recaptured some momentum. A repeat win would be a surprise, but not a total shock. Cindric’s +2000 odds are unchanged from last week.
While the Daytona 500 favorites are always worth watching, the Great American Race has a history of producing surprising winners. The longshots will be eager to etch their own names into NASCAR lore with an unlikely victory in the 67th running of this storied event. Tune in Sunday, February 16th to see who rises to the occasion.
