  • May 28 – Carlos Alcaraz hasn’t just pulled out of the French Open; he may miss Wimbledon as well! He’s now off the board at most sportsbooks, leaving Sinner at the top of the table at -180, despite the Italian’s recent cramp-up and exit of the French Open in the Second Round.
  • July 14, 2025 – Despite losing in the final just a few days ago, Carlos Alcaraz has opened as the favorite to win Wimbledon in 2026. His +110 is just a little ahead of the odds for ’25 champ Jannik Sinner, at +175. Further down the table is Novak Djokovic at +750 and Alexander Zverev at +1800.

The US has a long way to go to catch up to the UK, which has won 37 Wimbledon titles since 1877. Djokovic with his seven titles has Serbia in the mix as one of the nations with the most titles, tied alongside France and Sweden.

Carlos Alcaraz’s second win in 2024 gives Spain five titles, right behind the aforementioned seven titles of Serbia, France, and Sweden.

Krejcikova and Marketa Vondrousova’s back-to-back wins in ’23 and ’24 moved Czechia into sole possession of sixth in the all-time Wimbledon wins, with five. That keeps the nation just behind Australia’s six and ahead of Brazil’s three.
