2025 Australian Open Men’s Singles Odds Movement Timeline

  • [Jan 22] – Ben Shelton has already defeated two Italians at this year’s Australian Open – why not a third? Shelton, the last American standing, is now averaging +2450 to win. His opponent in the semifinals is last year’s champion and current favorite, Jannik Sinner, who’s averaging -192 to repeat.
  • [Jan 16] – Daniil Medvedev has been knocked out! With Australian Open odds previously at +1500, the 5th-seed and former US Open champ fell to American qualifier Lerner Tien in five sets. With no seeded players remaining in his section of the bracket, Tien is now getting +12000 to win the tournament.
  • [Jan 6] – No major movement on the Men’s side outside of Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, who’s average odds dropped shortened from +9520 to +4700 following his deep run in the Brisbane International.
  • [Jun 11] – There’s been little movement since February, but Djokovic’s injury towards the end of the French Open may be his odds have slightly lengthened to +162.
  • [Feb 15] – Despite falling in the semifinals, Novak Djokovic opens as the 2025 Aussie Open favorite at +151, while 2024 champ Jannik Sinner is +291.

2025 Australian Open Women’s Singles Odds Movement Timeline

  • [Jan 23] – Madison Keys pulled off an absolute shocker to upset second-ranked Iga Swiatek to make just her second Grand Slam final. Keys now sits as a +250 underdog against World #1 and defending champ Aryna Sabalenka, who shook off Paula Badosa in the other semifinal.
  • [Jan 22] – Iga Swiatek is the new favorite to win the Aussie Open. After knocking out Emma Navarro in the semis, Swiatek is now averaging -107 to win her first title in Melbourne. Aryna Sabalenka, the former favorite and two-time champion, is just behind at +116.
  • [Jan 16] – The biggest knockout for the Women’s Singles draw following the second round was Qinwen Zheng. The 5th seed, previously getting +1700 to win, fell to 36-year old Laura Siegemund in straight sets. With some of the longest odds of the tournament, Siegemund is now getting +40000 to win.
  • [Jan 6] – Days before the start of the season’s first Grand Slam, 2024 Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova has withdrawn from the Australian Open. Previously getting +2500 to win in Melbourne, a lingering back injury from the end of last season will keep Krejcikova from repeating as a quarterfinalist in 2025.
  • [Jun 10] – Jasmine Paolini has seen her odds shorten following her run to the French Open final, moving from +8000 to +6000.
  • [Feb 15] – Will there be a three-peat? At +245, Aryna Sabalenka opens as the 2025 Australian Open Women’s Singles favorite. Iga Swiatek is not far behind at +382.
