It was Megill’s third start out of five in which he didn’t surrender a run, and he’s allowed just six enemy hitters to cross the plate in 28 innings of work. His elite start has earned him top-12 consideration in the NL Cy Young odds, and he has a strong track record versus the defending champs.

The Braves on the other hand, have underwhelmed offensively. They entered play on Tuesday ranked bottom-11 in runs, and below league average in average and OBP.
