Two weeks ago, we were sizing up a stretch run that was going to put us into the black. Now, we’ve hit the skids on a 1-7 slump, the only victory being a Jonathan Taylor “sorry for doubting you” win, and he barely came through.

But that’s the beauty of the NFL season: we’ve got time to make it up, and what better way than an AFC North battle between the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers?

As always, we’ve got you set with a game preview.

But let’s delve a little deeper into these player props, and work our way back into the winnings.

Ben Roethlisberger Passing Props

The list of 100-yard rushers against the Ravens this year is short: Dalvin Cook of the Vikings, and that’s it. If the Steelers are going to win this game, they are likely going to have to throw the football. Ravens fans are still waiting for sports betting Maryland to go live, with later 2022 looking like a firm timeline.

Roethlisberger hasn’t been great this year, and that deep-ball ability is all but gone, as he ranks a woeful 29th in yards per attempt, but the Steelers have adjusted to a more conservative, at the line of scrimmage attack. Big Ben has actually surpassed this week’s completion total seven of the 10 games he’s played on the year.

Feeling like taking a double dip? The Ravens’ run D is 2nd-best in the NFL, but they’ve been susceptible to the pass, allowing 17 TD tosses on the year, which is tied for 12th in the league.

Six quarterbacks have at least two TD throws on the Ravens on the season: David Carr, Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Andy Dalton, Kirk Cousins and Carson Wentz have all turned the trick.

Picks:

  • Roethlisberger OVER 21.5 completions (1.5 units to win 1.31 units)
  • Roethlisberger OVER 1.5 TD passes (1 unit to win 1.5 units)

Mark Andrews Receiving Yards

It’s not easy living in the shadows of Travis Kelce, Gronk and George Kittle, but Mark Andrews is quietly putting together another solid campaign for a team that prefers to run more than throw.

Through 11 games, his 60 catches and 761 receiving has already eclipsed his receiving totals in 14 games last year.

In three of the last four games, he’s been targeted 10 times, and he’s gone over the receiving total in three straight.

Look for that trend to continue Sunday.

Pick:

  • Andrews OVER 54.5 yards receiving (1 units to win .0.87 units)

Ravens vs Steelers TD Scorers

Thanks to the good folks at DraftKings for the latest trends you should be targeting for scoring props in Ravens vs Steelers.

The tight ends should play a factor in Week 13: Andrews has scored at least one TD in four of the Baltimore’s last five games against AFC opponents, while youngster Pat Freiermuth has become a Steeler go-to red zone target, with a TD grab in four of the Pittsburgh’s last five games.

The running backs may feature prominently as well, as rookie Najee Harris has scored a touchdown in six of the Steelers’ last eight games and veteran Devonta Freeman has found paydirt in four of Baltimore’s last six contests.

Pick

  • Freiermuth to score anytime TD (1 unit to win 2.1 units)
