After a poor start in Week 1, our NFL parlays and teasers rebounded in Week 2, going 2-0, leaving us an even 2-2, -0.02 units. Let’s keep that momentum moving into Week 3.

NFL Week 3 Parlay Picks

In this week’s NFL parlay predictions we have two home favorites in the NFL betting odds.

I’d been going back and forth between trying to pick out a third team for this parlay. The candidates looked to be the Bills, Ravens or Seahawks. But the Bills on the road to a fiesty Commanders bunch weren’t selling me and both the Ravens and Seahawks have a host of injuries. Plus, as of this writing, we don’t even know who will be under center for Indy. Anthony Richardson or Gardner Minshew? Then In Carolina, do we know that Andy Dalton isn’t an upgrade in the short-term to Bryce Young? It’s a long season, so let’s stick to the two teams we have here and not push anything.

Broncos vs Dolphins

  • Pick: Dolphins

Week 1 for the Broncos was a typical game for them where the defense played well, the offense averaged their normal 16 points and they came up short 17-16 at home to the Raiders. Week 2, the offense finally sprung to life scoring 33 points, but this time, the defense allowed Commanders QB Sam Howell to throw for 299 yards and two scores, plus saw Bijan Robinson run in two touchdowns in what ended in a 35-33 home defeat.

Now they go on the road for the first time where they were 1-8 last season. Sean Payton will need to make some major adjustments going to Miami to face the 2-0 Dolphins who put up 60 points in two games beating the Chargers 36-34 and Patriots 24-17. The Fins’ offense is tied for third in PPG (30) while being first overall in YPG (462.5).

The Dolphins odds to win the Super Bowl have continued to shorten while Tua is now the leading favorites in the NFL MVP odds.

Texans vs Jaguars

  • Pick: Jaguars

I expected more from the Jaguars last week against the Chiefs. Maybe not an outright win. But it did seem possible. Surely more than the nine points they put up in a 17-9 home loss to the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last year.

The Jags still allowed 21 points to a rookie QB in Week 1 versus the Colts, but they were much better offensively scoring 31 and winning 31-21.

The Texans just gave up 31 points to the Colts, losing 31-20 last weekend, and lost 25-9 in Week 1 to the Ravens. Rookie QB CJ Stroud has yet to throw an interception, but he’s also only thrown two touchdowns. He’s also been under siege behind an offensive line that has allowed him to be sacked 11 times, the current league-high.

Trevor Lawrence failed to get much going through the air last week but with Jalen Pitre questionable, Dere Stingley Jr doubtful and Jimmie Ward coming off the injury report recently himself in the Texans’ secondary, Lawrence could find some more space this week.

While Houston has traditionally gotten the better of Jacksonville in this AFC South rivalry winning 9/10, 15/18 and 20/25 of the past meetings, the Jags are on the upswing and won the last meeting in January 31-3 in Houston.

NFL Teaser Picks Today

Matchup Pick (Teaser Odds)
Chicago vs Kansas City Chiefs -12.5 (-3.5)
Dallas vs Arizona Cowboys -125 (-3.5)
Los Angeles vs Cincinnati Rams +3 (+10.5)
TOTAL ODDS +106

NFL Week 3 Teaser Picks

US betting sites allow for many options when it comes to how to bet on NFL games. One of those ways is to add or subtract points to an NFL spread to create what is called a teaser. You can essentially do the same thing by taking alternate spreads numbers for each game of your choosing. This is available at many books including Caesars.

We’ve taken the Chiefs and Cowboys at -3.5 in the alternate NFL spreads, but you could also take -2.5 under the field goal for much shorter odds.

Bears vs Chiefs

  • Pick: Chiefs -3.5

The Chiefs haven’t roared out of the gates after two weeks, losing in Week 1 to the Lions 21-20 and then only putting up 17 points in Week 2, but coming away with a 17-9 road win in Jacksonville. But they were without Travis Kelce and Chris Jones in Week 1 and both returned in Week 2.

But the defense has been impressive limiting Jared Goff to one passing TD in Week 1 and Trevor Lawrence to zero scores and the Jags to just nine points in Week 2. The Chiefs rank third in opponent points per game (15) only behind the Cowboys and Browns.

Justin Fields and the Bears have looked like one of the worst teams this seson losing 38-20 (GB) and 27-17 (TB). Fields has just 2 TDs and 3 INTs and has been sacked ten times already. Now here comes Jones and the Chiefs who had four sacks last week.

I don’t see how the Bears score enough on offense or slow down the Chiefs enough on defense to keep this close.

Cowboys vs Cardinals

  • Pick: Cowboys -3.5

Dallas will be looking to reverse some current trends versus Arizona. Dallas lost 25-22 at home last season and have lost 6/7 of the past games with the Cards, albeit many of which took place years ago.

This could be the season and week to do so as Dallas are massive 12-point favorites over Arizona. The Cowboys have looked impressive through two weeks with wins of 40-0 and 30-10. Granted, those came against the Giants and Jets, two offensively challenged teams. But, the Cardinals would easily fall into that category as well, despite scoring 28 points of their own against the Giants last week in a 31-28 loss.

So the Giants who got shut out versus Dallas just hung 31 on the Cards and now here comes Dallas who rank first in PPG (35) as well as first in points allowed per game (5), yards allowed per game (193) and sacks (10).

I don’t love laying double-digit road points versus anyone but for our Week 3 teaser picks, Cowboys at -3.5 is very appealing.

Rams vs Bengals

  • Pick: Rams +10.5

Two surprise teams meet here on Monday Night Football but for different reasons. Not much was expected of the Rams, especially once Cooper Kupp went on the IR. But here they are at 1-1 after a strong 30-13 road in Week 1 and while they lost in Week 2 to the 49ers, they were in the game all the way, tied 17-17 at half and eventually losing 30-23.

Then there’s Cincinnati who have already lost twice to divisional rivals the Browns (24-3) and Ravens (27-24). Joe Burrow hasn’t looked right and is clearly still dealing with the effects of an offseason calf injury. He’s listed as questionable for Week 3 and if he can’t go next up is Jake Browning who has attempted one career NFL pass. Defensively against the rush, the Bengals have been run all over giving up the second-most yards per game on the ground at 192.

The Rams on the road on MNF may not win outright if Burrow plays. but they’ve looked good enough to at least stay within striking distance for our NFL teaser picks. They’re second in total yards per game on offense at 406 and Kyren Williams (3 rushing TDs), Puka Nacua (266 receiving yards) and Tutu Atwell (196 receiving yards) have all had strong starts to the year. Meanwhile, Cincy’s offense ranks dead-last in yards per game (212) and doesn’t look like they can pull away from anyone right now. Let’s add a whole bunch of points to the Rams to get them up to +10.5 to round out this week’s parlays and teasers.
