  • On Saturday, Vegas defeated Edmonton 4-3 in overtime for their 1st win over the Oilers this season
  • Below, you can find the Oilers vs Golden Knights odds as well as our best bet and prediction

A well-rested Golden Knights squad welcomes a familiar foe to T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday, March 28th when Vegas and Edmonton clash for the 2nd time in four nights. Faceoff goes at 10:00 pm ET from the desert in a game that can be seen on Sportsnet, ESPN+ or Hulu.

This will be the 4th and final meeting between the Pacific Division rivals, with Edmonton taking the first two matchups, before the Golden Knights skated out of Edmonton with a 4-3 overtime win on Saturday thanks to a Nicolas Roy game-winner.

For our best bet and prediction read on below, while we also offer up the Oilers vs Golden Knights odds.

Oiler vs Golden Knights Odds

Game Time Team Puck Line Total Moneyline
Tuesday, March 28th Edmonton Oilers -1.5 (+195) O 7 (+100) -130
10:00 PM Vegas Golden Knights +1.5 (-240) U 7 (-130) +100

Oddsmakers have declared the Oilers as -130 moneyline favorites for this one, even though the Golden Knights are five points ahead of them in the standings and are playing them at home.

On top of that, Edmonton will be playing for the 2nd night in a row, while Vegas has been resting since defeating the Oilers on Saturday. One thing Edmonton has going for them is a fairly healthy lineup as compared to a Vegas squad that is dealing with a plethora of injuries.

Oilers Red Hot As Playoffs Approach

Other than that extra frame loss to Vegas, the Oilers have lost just one other time in their last 10 games. We’ll see if their recent run makes them a top-five contender in the Stanley Cup odds before the postseason opens up.

As usual, they are scoring a ton, and giving up their fair share as well. Opponents have scored at least four goals against Edmonton in four of their last five games, no matter who is in net.

Stuart Skinner stole the starting job from Jack Campbell earlier this season, but his play has fallen off somewhat of late as he’s fallen off in the Calder Trophy odds. The Oilers rookie has given up at least three goals in five of his last six outings as his save percentage has dipped below the .910 mark.

Golden Knights Hit Hard by Injuries

It’s a good thing the Vegas brass acquired veteran Jonathan Quick at the trade deadline. They currently have three goalies out with injuries. It’s pretty amazing they are a top seed in the NHL playoff bracket, considering how many players of significance have missed time for them this season.

Vegas Golden Knights Injuries

Player Injury Status
Reilly Smith RW Lower Body Out Until Early April
Logan Thompson G Lower Body Out Until Early April
Alec Martinez D Personal Probable vs Oilers
Adin Hill G Lower Body Out Indefinitely
William Carrier LW Lower Body Out Indefinitely
Mark Stone RW Back Out Indefinitely
Nolan Patrick C Upper Body Out For Season
Robin Lehner G Hip Out For Season

Home ice has been a boon to the Golden Knights’ success lately, although they didn’t start off the season that way. In their last 11 games as hosts, Bruce Cassidy’s squad is 9-2-0 after starting the season 13-12-1 at T-Mobile Arena, which makes it all the more surprising they’re underdogs in the NHL odds.

Quick will likely get the call in net for Vegas in this one after Laurent Brossoit started the previous game. Since coming to Sin City after spending the previous 10 years with Los Angeles, the veteran has gone 5-1-0 with a 2.93 goals against average and .908 save percentage.

Oilers vs Golden Knights Pick and Prediction

Somehow, we managed to get this far without mentioning Connor McDavid, who is a lock in the Hart trophy odds at -4000 with his strongest competition perhaps coming from teammate Leon Draisaitl. By his own standards, McDavid is in a bit of a dry spell, getting just a single helper in each of his last two games. The last time he went three in a row without a goal was over a month ago.

Oilers vs Golden Knights Same-Game Parlay Picks

Pick Odds
Over 7 Goals +100
Connor McDavid Anytime Goal -124
PARLAY ODDS  +161

Expect the Oilers captain to be motivated for revenge against the Golden Knights and become the first player since Alexander Ovechkin, 15 years ago, to surpass the 60-goal plateau in this one.

The Oilers are by far the best bet to hit the over in the NHL this season, providing a 30.37% return on investment throughout the campaign. They have only fallen under the betting line once in their last eight games, so that’s our favorite pick in the Oilers vs Golden Knights odds.

Pick: Over 7 Goals (+100)
