Upcoming Match-ups

So you’re in the mood to do a bit of entertainment betting, are you? Fantastic! But first things first: do you know where to go to make your wager? There are many online sportsbooks out there, however, not all of them offer entertainment odds, or “specials”, for players to bet on. To save you the time and trouble of searching out which sites do, in fact, offer entertainment betting, we have taken the task on ourselves and put together a list the eight best sportsbooks for non-sports betting! Although “top-ten” has a nice ring to it, we couldn’t bear to cheapen the list with placeholders.

Whatever you are looking to get out of your online gambling experience, if you are even remotely interested in entertainment betting, there is bound to be something on this list for you.

Bovada

The team over at Bovada understand that not everyone coming to their site is going to be a professional gambler. They may not be the flashiest sportsbook you come across, but Bovada is easy-to-use, consistent, and has proven to be reliable—three things you definitely should not take for granted when placing a bet.

Pros:

  • Quicker-than-average payout speed
  • Attainable bonuses on offer
  • Great value on underdogs
  • Wide range of events and “extras”

Cons:

  • Rarely the first site to post odds on an event
  • Fees for withdrawing more than once a month

Payment & withdrawal options: VISA, Mastercard, debit, Bitcoin, and check

MyBookie.Ag

These guys are relatively new on the block, but what MyBookie.Ag may lack in experience, they make up for in chutzpah and hustle. With an easy-to-read interface, visible lines for members and non-members alike, and a wide variety of news and media available for bettors to stay up to date with, MyBookie’s curb appeal alone is fantastic. Never mind how easy and entertaining they’ve made it to use their site.

Pros:

  • The rare option of phoning in your bet
  • Early odds
  • Very quick payouts, with an option to rush for a fee
  • Known to take wagers on anything a player may want to bet on, with just a phone call to customer service

Cons:

  • Not as wide a variety of payment options as other sites, but still many options available
  • $45 minimum deposit

Payment & withdrawal options: VISA, Mastercard, debit, wire transfer, and check

Xbet

This is a sportsbook with really great potential. Xbet looks great and works really well on mobile devices, which is, as we all know, the way of the future for literally everything we do. There is nothing complicated about using this site to place bets; from signing up, to depositing your money, to receiving your payout, everything is streamlined and straightforward.  Just keep in mind that Xbet is still growing and has some kinks to work out, specifically in regards to posted policy and delivery options. But, if getting in on the ground floor and growing with a company that has the potential to be something great is something that excites you, then this could be the sportsbook for you.

Pros:

  • Signing up and getting your payout is straightforward
  • Works really well on mobile devices
  • Competitive odds
  • Good customer service overall

Cons:

  • More broken links than other sportsbooks
  • Some ambiguity with promotions and certain rules
  • Fewer payment options than other sites

Payment & withdrawal options: VISA, Mastercard, Bitcoin

Intertops

One of the earliest adopters of online gambling, Intertops has been around (online) since 1996. With several decades of experience behind them and a good grasp on their customer base, this sportsbook makes betting enjoyable. If you are looking to place a bet and get your cash quick, however, you might want to look elsewhere. Payouts can take up to two weeks and can come with fairly large fees attached.

Pros:

  • Very low minimum deposit
  • Solid reputation in the industry
  • Regular fun bonuses
  • Top-notch customer service

Cons:

  • Slow payout speed, ranging from 2-15 days
  • Large payout fees

Payment & withdrawal options: VISA, Mastercard, American Express, debit, Bitcoin, Skrill, wire transfer, and Neteller

Pinnacle

If you’re looking for the best of the best (who isn’t?) look no further. Pinnacle is exactly what its name suggests: the pinnacle of your online gambling experience. Keep in mind that the selection of sports odds far exceeds that of their entertainment odds. However, if you consider yourself a serious gambler or simply want to play like it, Pinnacle is where it’s at.

Pros:

  • Payout speed is very quick
  • Highest maximum bets you’ll find
  • Good-quality articles to keep bettors informed
  • Best odds

Cons:

  • Not much phone support
  • No sign-up bonuses or promotions
  • Relatively small entertainment section

Payment & withdrawal options: VISA, Mastercard, debit, Skrill, wire transfer, and Neteller

Paddy Power

When it comes to entertainment betting, Paddy Power takes the cake. Notorious for their novelty odds and social-media presence, this is a sportsbook that likes to have fun. If they don’t have the odds on your event, chances of you finding them anywhere else are pretty slim. As long as you are okay with slow payouts and not being able to place your bets in American dollars, Paddy Power is not likely to disappoint.

Pros:

  • Low minimum deposit
  • One of the largest odds selections in the industry
  • Many entertaining novelty bets
  • Big entertainment betting selection
  • Top-notch customer service
  • Strong social media presence

Cons:

  • Slow payouts
  • Small sign-up bonuses
  • Only accept English pounds or Euros – no American registered credit cards

Payment & withdrawal options: VISA, Mastercard, debit, PayPal, Skrill, wire transfer, and Neteller

888 Sport

As an overall sportsbook, 888 Sport is solid. For people just getting started with online betting, they’re really solid. They’ve got quicker-than-average payouts; they’ve made it very easy to get started, and their team is constantly thinking up new incentives to keep players interested. However, their entertainment section is predominantly United Kingdom-focused, so if you happen to be unfamiliar with the UK’s programming and/or politics, this may not be the site for you.

Pros:

  • Quicker-than-average payout speed
  • Many payment and withdrawal options
  • Very easy to get started
  • Frequent new promotions

Cons:

  • Entertainment section is fairly UK-focused

Payment & withdrawal options: VISA, Mastercard, debit, Maestro, PayPal, Skrill, wire transfer, Neteller, and Check

BetVictor

It’s hard to say what BetVictor’s best feature is; its incredible number of odds, its incredibly easy-to-use mobile product which recognizes the type of device you are using and enhances your experience accordingly, or the fact that you can receive cash the same way you deposit it. Not that it even really matters, to be honest. This is a great sportsbook, although it is worth mentioning that just like 888 Sport, BetVictor’s entertainment section is largely focused on UK events.

Pros:

  • Faster than average payout speed
  • Low minimum deposit
  • Great odds
  • First-rate mobile experience
  • Industry-leading maximum payouts

Cons:

  • Entertainment section is fairly UK-focused

Payment & withdrawal options: VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, PayPal, Skrill, wire transfer, and Neteller
