The Edmonton Oilers visit the Utah Mammoth on Saturday, with puck drop set for 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET at Delta Center. Utah has the better record and home ice, while Edmonton brings an offense putting up more than four goals a night. These squads met on Thursday, with Utah skating away with a 4-2 victory in Edmonton.

Oilers vs Mammoth Prediction
- Oilers to win (44¢ on Kalshi)
My Oilers vs Mammoth prediction is on Edmonton at 44¢, a 44% implied chance. A winning contract pays $1, so this position risks 44¢ to make 56¢. New users can check out our Kalshi promo code before puck drop.
The Oilers have 31 goals in seven games, good for 4.43 per night (second best in the NHL), and they’ve lost just once in regulation at 5-1-1. Connor McDavid leads the league with 18 points, while Evan Bouchard (15) and Leon Draisaitl (12) aren’t far behind.
Utah has earned its spot as the favorite. The Mammoth are 6-2-0 with 31 goals across eight games, 3.88 per game, and they average 30.6 shots. Their power play has cashed twelve of 32 chances (37.5%, tops in NHL), well ahead of Edmonton’s 21.7%.
That’s the key for Edmonton: stay out of the box. The Oilers’ penalty kill has allowed seven goals on 22 chances (68.2%), and Utah has weapons like Nick Schmaltz, Clayton Keller and Mikhail Sergachev ready to cash in.
Utah’s own penalty kill sits at 75.9%, so neither side is airtight shorthanded. If this stays mostly five-on-five, I trust Edmonton’s top-end talent to swing it, and 44¢ is a fair price for that upset path.
Oilers vs Mammoth Odds

The latest Oilers vs Mammoth odds make Utah a -139 home favorite, roughly a 58.2% implied chance. Edmonton’s +115 moneyline translates to about 46.5%, so the 44¢ Kalshi contract is a cheaper way to back the Oilers.
Edmonton +1.5 costs -200 on the puck line (66.7% implied), while Utah -1.5 pays +165. The total sits at 6.5, with the Over at -120 and the Under at even money. A lean toward the Over isn’t surprising with both clubs sitting at 31 goals.
Oilers vs Mammoth Best Prop Bets
Connor McDavid 1+ Assist
- Connor McDavid 1+ assist (-205 at DraftKings)
Connor McDavid has 14 assists in seven games, part of an 18-point start that has him squarely in the conversation in the Hart Trophy odds.
This prop doesn’t need him to score. He just needs one helper, and he’s averaging two per game. With Bouchard and Draisaitl both producing, McDavid has plenty of finishers to feed.
The -205 price is steep, implying about a 67.2% chance. Given his assist pace, I’m comfortable paying it.
Vasily Podkolzin Anytime Goalscorer
- Vasily Podkolzin anytime goalscorer (+220 at DraftKings)
Wrapping up my Oilers vs Mammoth best prop bets, I’m taking a swing on Vasily Podkolzin at +220, about a 31.3% implied chance. He has seven goals in seven games, the most on the Oilers.
Utah has to account for McDavid and Draisaitl on every shift, and Podkolzin has been the one cashing in. If Edmonton draws a few power plays against a Mammoth penalty kill that has given up seven goals, he gets another path to the net. This is the higher-variance play of the two, but the price matches the risk.
