The Europa League Round of 16 Leg 2 takes place this week with seven games on Thursday. But after some close first-legs there is still plenty left to play for.

We list all of the odds below, with the first-leg scores in brackets, and have previewed three games that could offer some value.

Galatasaray vs Barcelona Prediction

Despite being the favorites to win the whole competition, Barca has work to do before they can start planning for the quarterfinals after drawing the first leg 0-0 at the Camp Nou. They prepared well for this game though with a thumping 4-0 La Liga win at the weekend over Osasuna – a result that took them up to fourth in the table – but will be without Roberto, Balde, Fati, and Umtiti in Istanbul.

Galatasaray performed heroically in the first leg to shut out Barca – a feat achieved by very few visitors to the Camp Nou – but will have to do it all over again if they are to give themselves any chance of progression to the last eight. While it has not been a great season for Galatasaray domestically – they are 11th in the Süper Lig – they warmed up nicely at the weekend with a 2-1 derby win over Besiktas.

The bookies massively favor Barca. but appear to have ignored Galatasaray’s brilliant performance in the first leg. While they may not have enough to get the job done, the Turkish side, with the support of a boisterous crowd, can earn another draw here after 90 minutes.

Picks: Galatasaray and Barcelona to draw after 90 minutes (+420)

Red Star Belgrade vs Rangers Prediction

Rangers travel to the Stadion Rajko Mitic with a formidable-looking 3-0 lead but will be wary of their poor recent record in Europe. Coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be acutely aware of the possible impact of conceding an early goal, so will ask his men to be resolute and solid early on.

But if the Serbian champions can make that early breakthrough then it really will be game on, especially if you consider they had three goals disallowed in the first leg at Ibrox along with Aleksandar Katai having a first-half penalty saved by Alan McGregor. It was such an open game in Glasgow it could easily have ended 5-5, so this is not yet over, especially if Red Star can score the opening goal.

The Stadio Rajko Mitic is always a noisy, intimidating arena but the Red Star fans will take it to another level on Thursday. With the Serbs in plus money, there is value in the home win, even though the victory may not be enough to see them make it to the last eight.

Pick: Red Star to win (+123)

West Ham United vs Sevilla Prediction

West Ham comes into this game in good shape after beating Aston Villa 1-0 at the London Stadium at the weekend – the goal being scored amid emotional scenes by Ukraine international Andriy Yarmolenko – but they face a 1-0 deficit against a very good Sevilla side.

The Andalusians’ 1-0 lead from the first leg, thanks to a fine second-half strike from Munir El Haddadi, has put them in pole position to progress and continue what has been a fine season, but the Hammers will push them hard. Sevilla currently lies second in La Liga, behind leaders Real Madrid, and will fancy their chances of lifting the Europa League trophy for a record-breaking seventh time.

Key to this game will be Sevilla’s outstanding defense – they have conceded a miserly 19 goals in 28 La Liga games – and, for me, the value here is with a low-scoring draw that will be good enough for the Spaniards to progress.

Pick: West Ham and Sevilla to draw (+350)
