This is the third Super Bowl appearance for the Chiefs in the Mahomes era, but it’s the first time they enter the championship game as underdogs latest Super Bowl odds.
At the outset of the playoffs, the Chiefs were the consensus favorite in the Super Bowl odds to win it all. However, following an ankle injury to their MVP pivot in the Divisional Round, the Eagles overtook them and have maintained their status as the team to beat ever since.
