There are no Cinderella stories in Super Bowl 57. The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles both carry 16-3 records into the game at 6:30 pm ET Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The Chiefs were the #1 seed in the AFC and the Eagles held the same distinction in the NFC, making deciding on your Chiefs vs Eagles picks a tough call.

This marks just the sixth time since the merger that the teams with the top two regular-season records will meet in the Super Bowl.

It looks like an even matchup and the oddsmakers tend to agree. The Eagles opened as a 1.5-point favorite and the spread has held steady for over a week now.

As far as spread bets, the Chiefs are getting 67% of the handle and 62% of the wagers in the Super Bowl odds.

The Chiefs are just 7-11-1 against the spread this year. They have been the winning side in two of their last three games, though.

Eagles Super Bowl Odds

At -122 on the moneyline, oddsmakers give the Eagles an implied win probability of 54.95% in the Chiefs vs Eagles odds.

The Eagles are receiving just 18% of the ML handle compared to 67% of the bets. In spread wagers, Philadelphia is getting 33% of the handle and 38% of the bets.

The Eagles are 10-9 ATS this season. Philadelphia has covered in both playoff games after being the losing side in each of its last four regular-season games.

Chiefs Betting Preview

The big question surrounding the Chiefs is quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ health as per the early Chiefs vs Eagles injury report.

Mahomes sprained his right ankle in a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in a divisional-round playoff game and missed most of the second quarter. However, he played the entire AFC Championship Game over the Cincinnati Bengals and threw for 326 yards and three touchdowns.

Though the Chiefs traded star wide receiver Tyreek Hill in the offseason, their passing game is better than ever. Mahomes led the NFL with 5,250 passing yards in the regular season and tight end Travis Kelce’s 1,338 receiving yards ranked eighth.

While rookie running back Isiah Pacheco has shown flashes of brilliance, the Chiefs will have to throw the ball to win and Mahomes will be the difference if KC is to win in the Chiefs vs Eagles picks. The Chiefs were 20th in the league in rushing yards.

Tackle Chris Jones is the star of the defense and completely disrupted the Bengals and quarterback Joe Burrow in the AFC title game with two sacks and three tackles for loss.

Eagles Betting Preview

Quarterback Jalen Hurts had had an outstanding year.

In the regular season, he threw for 3,701 yards and ran for 760. However, he missed two games late in the season with a sprained shoulder before returning for the season finale.

Hurts has not been nearly as dynamic in the Eagles’ two playoff games. He has 275 passing yards and 53 rushing yards.

Is it a sign that Hurts is not completely healthy? Or are the low numbers the result of the Eagles not needing to rely on Hurts in games they won by a combined score of 69-14?

Even if Hurts is hurting, the Eagles don’t have to rely on him as much as the Chiefs do Mahomes. Miles Sanders rushed for 1,269 yards in the regular season, the fifth-best mark in the NFL. AJ Brown was fourth with 1,296 receiving yards and could be wroth a play in your Eagles player props.

The Eagles’ aggressive defense is sure to try to put as much heat on Mahomes as possible. Philadelphia had a league-best 70 sacks in the regular season, 15 more than any other team.

Chiefs vs Eagles Super Bowl Prediction

This matchup is as close as it appears, and more money is expected to be bet on this game than any in Super Bowl history. There are plenty of Super Bowl betting promotions to take advantage of before making your Chiefs vs Eagles picks.

Super Bowl games props are plentiful, too, and the over/under on total touchdowns is six.

The difference in this game could very well be the experience of the quarterbacks with Mahomes playing in his third Super Bowl and Hurts his first. That gives the slightest of edges to the Chiefs for our Super Bowl prediction.
