The Vikings handled the visiting Green Bay Packers 23-7 in Week 1. The Eagles held off the Lions 38-35 in Detroit.
The Eagles are 2.5-point favorites after Philadelphia opened at -2.5 as well. The game will be televised by ABC.

The weather forecast calls for a 30% chance of showers or thunderstorms with a temperature of 80 degrees at kickoff, a low of 68 and west wind at 5 mph.
In the Super Bowl odds, the Eagles are listed at +1500 and the Vikings at +2200.
Vikings vs Eagles Recent History
The Vikings have won the last two meetings between the teams since losing to the Eagles in the 2017 NFC Championship Game. In the most recent game, Kirk Cousins passed for 333 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-20 victory on Oct. 13, 2019.
Minnesota Offense vs Philadelphia Defense
Jefferson got his season off to a fine start by catching nine catches for a career-high 184 yards and two touchdowns in the win over the Packers. He had a franchise-record 158 yards in the first half.
Jefferson also notched his 200th reception in his 34th career game. Just three players in NFL history have reached that mark faster.

Cornerback James Bradberry will likely be tasked with helping covering Jefferson. Signed as a free agent in the offseason, Bradberry became the first player to return an interception in his Eagles’ debut since 1940.
Greg Joseph kicked a 56-yard field goal against the Packers to tie the Vikings’ record. He has made eight field goals from 50 or more yards since the start of last season.
Eagles Offense vs Vikings Defense
AJ Brown had a smashing Eagles’ debut in the win over the Lions with 10 catches for 155 yards. Acquired from the Tennessee Titans in a trade during the draft, Brown tied his career high for receiving yards.
Brown has developed a strong relationship with Hurts and was targeted 13 times in Week 1.

Hurts will try to get DeVonta Smith involved in the offseason. Smith was held without a catch on four targets by the Lions after setting a franchise rookie record with 916 receiving yards last season.
The Vikings will need to find a way to slow down Hurts, who had 333 yards of total offense last week with 243 passing and 90 rushing. Minnesota had a strong first performance under new defensive coordinator Ed Donatell with four sacks, an interception and forced fumble against the Packers. At +3750, Danielle Hunter is just outside the top-ten in the NFL Defensive Player of the Year odds.
Hurts has +1400 NFL MVP odds, while the Eagles are a -380 favorite in the NFL playoff odds.

Vikings safety Lewis Cine is expected to make his NFL debut after sitting out last week’s game with a knee contusion. He was the last pick of the first round in this year’s draft.
Vikings vs Eagles Prediction
This is an intriguing matchup between two potentially explosive offenses. Look for the veteran hand of Cousins and the explosiveness of Vikings to propel them to victory.
