- A look at the Super Bowl 57 MVP odds can be found below with an analysis and best bet
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts, his Philadelphia Eagles’ counterpart, finished 1-2 in the NFL MVP voting on Thursday night. It is only fitting that the two are co-favorites in the Super Bowl MVP odds.
Mahomes and Hurts are both listed at +130 going into their matchup at 6:30 pm ET Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The oddsmakers expect the game itself to also be close. The Eagles are Eagles 1.5-point favorites in the Super Bowl odds.
Betting on Super Bowl MVP odds is also another way to potentially find better value in picking an outright winner in your Chiefs vs Eagles picks. The Chiefs and Eagles are +104 and -122 on the moneyline respectively. If you believe the winning team’s QB will ultimately win the MVP honor, this could be a strategy for extracting more value.

Super Bowl MVP Co-Favorites
Mahomes and Hurts have led their teams to 16-3 records, which are tied for the best in the NFL. The Chiefs and Eagles also gained the #1 seeds in their conferences.
Hurts passed for 3,701 yards and 22 touchdowns and rushed for 760 yards and 13 scores during the regular season. He was picked to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his three-year career.
What might sum up Hurts’ value to the Eagles the most is they are 16-1 when he starts. They lost both games that he missed late in the regular season because of a shoulder injury.

Mahomes led the league with 5,250 passing yards in the regular season, more than 500 more yards than any other quarterback. The Los Angeles Chargers’ Justin Herbert was second with 4,739.
Furthermore, Mahomes threw an NFL-high 41 touchdown passes. He was a first-time All-Pro for the second time in his six-year career and was selected to his fifth Pro Bowl.
Interestingly, Mahomes will be trying to break an 0-8 Super Bowl MVP trend in the Super Bowl by quarterbacks who were NFL MVPs that season.
Super Bowl MVP Contenders
There is a large gap between Mahomes, Hurts and the rest of the choices on the board.
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is the third pick at +1600. He is followed by Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown (+1800) and running back Miles Sanders (+2500).
Kelce was eighth in the NFL with 1,338 receiving in the regular season. He had 110 receptions, 12 of which went for touchdowns.
Jerry Rice is the only player in NFL history with more playoff TD catches than Kelce’s 15.

Brown’s 1,496 yards were fourth in the league and came on 88 catches while he scored 11 TDs. Sanders rushed for 1,269 yards – fifth in the NFL – and 11 touchdowns on 259 carries.
MVP Longshot to Watch
Linebacker Haason Reddick has had an outstanding season for the Eagles.
Reddick had 16 sacks and a league-high five forced fumbles in the regular season. He has added 3.5 sacks in two postseason games.
Matched up against Chiefs right tackle Andrew Wyile, who has allowed nine sacks this season, Reddick could have a big game. He is enticing with +3400 odds and there are plenty of Super Bowl betting promotions and ways to make Super Bowl bets to get down your NFL MVP and other Super Bowl wagers this weekend.
Super Bowl MVP Public Betting
Want to know how the public is betting on the Super Bowl MVP odds? According to DraftKings as of Sunday afternoon, 23.9-percent of the handle is going to Mahomes, followed by 19.9-percent to Hurts and 12.7-percent to Kelce.
Super Bowl MVP Prediction – Mahomes the Man
While there is certainly not a whole lot of value at -130, Mahomes is the pick here to be the Super Bowl 57 MVP. Quarterbacks have won the award in four of the last six Super Bowls and Mahomes has the experience edge in the Chiefs vs Eagles picks, playing in his third Super Bowl while Hurts will be in his first.
Pick: Patrick Mahomes +130
