Werder Bremen (+1000) at Borussia Dortmund (-400), Draw (+500)

The last fixture of the 2014-15 Bundesliga involves two teams fighting for a spot in next season’s Europa League as Borussia Dortmund host Werder Bremen tomorrow at the Signal-Iduna-Park (9:30 AM Eastern).

Tied for seventh with 43 points at the moment, Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen are currently on the outside looking in for the 2015-16 Europa League, but they are both just three points back of sixth-place Augsburg.

The good news for both sides is that Augsburg will visit third-place Monchengladbach this weekend and will be heavy underdogs to the Champions League-bound team.

There is more good news for Dortmund, as they currently have a better goal difference (+4) than Augsburg (-2), which would function as the tie-breaker should the teams wind up tied at 46 points. Unfortunately for Werder, they boast a dreadful -14 differential, which has all but sealed their fate already.

For Dortmund, tomorrow’s game will be a chance to say goodbye to several key faces that helped the team find sustained success domestically. Manager Jürgen Klopp will be coaching his last Bundesliga game with the team, while midfielder Sebastian Kehl is retiring, and the status of playmaker Marco Reus is in limbo.

“I know how the people have come to love Klopp over the years,” Kehl told the site BVB Total. “It will hopefully be an outstanding day for the two of us.”

For Werder, the game will be a chance to finish the season strong and play spoiler.

“We want to spoil Klopp’s farewell if something’s still at stake that day,” defender Sebastian Prodl told Kicker.

Werder Bremen won the only meeting so far this season (2-1), but Borussia Dortmund had won the previous seven games in the series in all competitions. Since Dortmund still has everything to play for, look for the motivated home side to come out on top.

Pick: Borussia Dortmund (-333).
