After rescuing just one point of the last six they have fought in the last couple of fixtures, AC Milan will visit Cesena with thirst for revenge. The game corresponds to the fifth fixture of the Italian Serie A and will be next Sunday, September 27 at 9:00 AM ET, at the Dino Manuzzi Stadium of Cesena.

Both teams have met 23 times each other in the Serie A, and the Rossoneri’s lead the series with 14 wins and only five defeats (3 draws). This Sunday, AC Milan is also favorite in the odds as a Milan victory is listed with -162 in the chances, while a Romagnoli win will pay +500, and +250 in case of a draw.

After their last game, 2-2 against Empoli, AC Milan, head coach, Filippo Inzaghi said despite the result, he was pleased with Fernando Torres performance. The coach thinks “El Niño” could make difference in the next matches.

“I think Torres played a pretty good game, he haven’t played 90 minutes for a long time. Despite of that he played with a lot of intensity; he scored and then created a chance when Jeremy Menez hit the crossbar. He almost gets a second goal as well. We are very happy with Fernando, and I think he will provide a lot of positives for the club,” said the coach.

AC Milan arrives at this game as the 7th place of the league with seven points (2W, 1D, 1D) and +2 in their goal difference. On the other side, Cesena is on the 13th place of the table with four points (1W, 1D, 2L) and a negative goal difference (-5).
