March 18th NBA Props – Best Player Prop Bets for Thursday’s Six Games

Thursday, March 18th might not be a jam-packed schedule in the Association, but there’s lots of talent who will be in action. The Utah Jazz visit Bradley Beal and the Washington Wizards.

Elsewhere, Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves take on Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns, while LaMelo Ball makes his first appearance against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Also, you can’t forget about the Pelicans and Trail Blazers after Damian Lillard dropped a 50 piece on Zion Williamson and co. just two nights ago.

Another Big Shooting Night From  Edwards?

Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Anthony Edwards has been one of the few bright spots for the organization this season.

He’s creeping up on Ball in the Rookie of the Year odds thanks to his impressive performances on a nightly basis.

Edwards is known for his ability to posterize opponents and use brute strength to soar above the rim and throw down vicious dunks. Sure, he can shoot it a bit and dish out some assists, but the former Georgia standout thrives best around the rim.

Edwards is draining just 32% of his 6.5 attempts per game from three-point range this season, which isn’t great by any means. He’s certainly still developing as a shooter, but lately, there has been some promise.

In Edwards’ last three games, the 19-year old is shooting 42% from deep, including a 6-14 performance against Portland last Sunday where he also collected a career-high 34 points.

Phoenix is pretty solid at defending the three-ball, with opponents shooting just 34.6% from beyond the perimeter. But in their last three appearances, opposing teams are hitting just under 40% of their attempts from long range.

Edwards has hit over 2.5 threes in three consecutive games. He’s clearly finding his touch lately, which means there is certainly value for him to do so again on Thursday night against the Suns.

Randle Erupts Against Struggling Magic

Julius Randle has continued his tremendous campaign into the second half, aside from a seven-point outing last week against Milwaukee. Other than that, the Knicks star has been scoring at a high level, including a 33-point night vs. Brooklyn on Monday.

New York is currently on a three-game losing streak, much in part to their depleted backcourt. Elfrid Payton and Derrick Rose remain out due to injuries and  COVID-19 protocols.

But, Thursday presents an opportunity to break out with a vengeance and in order to do so, Randle needs to have a big night. What better team to be up against than the Orlando Magic? They have lost eight straight and sit 20th in the NBA in defensive rating.

The Knicks are a legitimate contender to make the playoffs and right now is crunch time. They need to buckle down and Randle needs to be in the zone. These two teams have already won a game apiece versus each other this season as well, with Randle dropping 25, and 21 points, respectively.

Orlando is depleted right now. Even though Evan Fournier and Aaron Gordon could play in this contest, this team is clearly struggling. After averaging 26 against two of the best teams in the Eastern Conference in Brooklyn and Philly, all signs point to Randle hitting the over here.
