Minnesota vs St Louis Injury Report
Three games into the playoffs, the Blues have lost three defensemen. Nick Leddy and Robert Bortuzzo are both out with upper-body injuries. Torey Krug left Game 3 in the first period with a lower-body injury.

Krug leads all Blues with 46 career postseason assists and 57 career postseason points. Leddy has appeared in 122 career postseason games, the most of any Blues player.
Scott Perunovich (wrist) and MacKenzie MacEachern (UBI) are also out for St Louis.
The Wild report no injuries.
Blues Facing Big Decision In Goal
Blues coach Craig Berube went with unproven Ville Husso over Stanley Cup winner Jordan Binnington in goal. It looked to be brilliant strategy when Husso posted a 4-0 shutout in his NHL playoff debut. However, 11 goals have gone into the St Louis net in the two games since.

It would make sense for Berube to turn to the proven commodity in Binnington for Game 4. Binnington’s edgy competitiveness might also give the club a much-needed spark.
Wild vs Blues Projected Starting Goalies
Team | Goalie | Record | SV% | GAA |
---|---|---|---|---|
Wild | Marc-Andre Fleury | 2-1 | .926 | 2.35 |
Blues | Ville Husso | 1-2 | .906 | 3.02 |
Wild coach Dean Evason also was facing a touch choice entering Game 1 between veterans Cam Talbot and Marc-Andre Fleury. He went with the Cup winner in Fleury, staying with him after the Game 1 loss.
Marc-Andre Fleury made 29 saves to earn his 92nd career playoff win, tying Grant Fuhr for third on the NHL’s all-time list. #StanleyCup#NHLStats: https://t.co/YvCW13KHJC https://t.co/ScbJZpQ6rP

It’s a decision that’s paying dividends. With back-to-back wins, the playoff savvy Fleury is now tied with Grant Fuhr (92) for third on the all-time Stanley Cup wins list.
Wild vs Blues Game 4 Prediction
Prior to Game 3, the Wild had never won a game in St Louis since Berube was named coach of the Blues in 2018 (0-4-3). Then again, prior to Game 3, Minnesota hadn’t won consecutive games over St Louis since 2018.
The Blues are signicantly banged up on the back end. At the same time, Minnesota’s best players are bringing their A game to the ice. It should prove to be a winning combination for the Wild.
