Wright State Betting Outlook

Wright State has covered in its last four games and has a season ATS record of 16-18 after notching its first NCAA tourney win in school history.

Junior guard Tanner Holden had a big game in the win over Bryant as he finished with 37 points and 11 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the season and third in the last four games. It was the second 30-point game for Holden, who has scored in double figures in 16 of the last 17 games.

Holden is averaging 20.3 points and 7.3 rebounds a game. He also tops Division I with 215 free throws made and went 14 for 16 at the foul line Wednesday and 11 of 15 from the field.

Junior guard Trey Calvin is scoring 14.5 points and dishing 3.3 assists a game and had a fine all-round performance in his NCAA debut.

Calvin contributed 14 points, five rebounds and four assists. He has scored in double digits in 14 of his last 15 games.

Junior forward Grant Basile had his 14th double-figure game in a row with 14 points. He added eight rebounds and three blocked shots.

Basile has averages of 18.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks.

Wright State shot 42.9% (9 of 21) on three-pointers while holding Bryant to 4 for 24 (16.7%) from distance. The Raiders committed 16 turnovers but outrebounded the Bulldogs 44-34.

Arizona Betting Outlook

Looking to win its second national title and first since 1997, Arizona has been a moneymaker this season, going 19-13-2 against the spread. The Wildcats have been the winning side in three of their last four games.

Freshman guard Bennedict Mathurin leads Arizona in scoring at 17.4 points a game and is also averaging 5.6 points and 2.6 assists. He has +5250 Wooden Award odds.

Mathurin went for off 27 points and seven assists in the win over UCLA in the Pac-12 title game. It was his 13th game with at least 20 points this season and he has scored in double figures in 13 straight games and 27 of the last 28.

Freshman guard Dalen Terry had a season-high 15 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. Terry helped Arizona shoot 51.9% (27 of 52) from the field while making half its 14 three-point attempts.

The Wildcats limited UCLA to 5-of-22 (22.7%) shooting from distance.

Sophomore center Christian Koloko registered his eighth double-double as he finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots. He has averages of 12.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.7 rejections.

Koloko, who helped Arizona tie a tourney record with 11 total blocks, was the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year and is always willing to lend a helping hand.

Freshman forward Azuolas Tubelis is stuffing the stat sheet with 14.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists a game. Arizona is getting an average of 10.1 points and 4.9 assists from freshman guard Kerr Kriisa, who is questionable after missing the last two games with a sprained right ankle.

Wright State vs Arizona Prediction

The schools have met only once, and Arizona won 83-66 during the 2004-05 season at home. This game also doesn’t figure to be close, but Wright State has enough talent to slide under the big number.

The Pick: Wright State +22 (-113)
