Five games into the NCAA men’s basketball season, there’s not much that hasn’t gone the way of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. On the other hand, little has gone right so far for the Oregon State Beavers.

Wake Forest is a perfect 5-0 on the young campaign. Meanwhile, the Beavers are 1-4 and losers of four in a row.

As they ready to play at Wake Forest on Friday, perhaps the biggest surprise is that oddsmakers are setting the Beavers as just 3.5-point road underdogs in this game. The Demon Deacons are 4-1 against the spread this season.
