The Europeans giants, Real Madrid, will take on small Cordoba this Monday at 2 PM ET, in the Spanish La Liga second fixture, at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid is a huge favorite in this game listed -1800 in the money line to win this matchup, and Cordoba us +3500 to pull the upset; the draw was listed at +1000.

Madrid arrives at the encounter after losing 1-0 against Atletico Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup on Friday.  They have had some difficulties over Cristiano Ronaldo’s fitness who hasn’t been in a good shape for the last three months, suffering injuries all over the place.

“We’re going to fight to win the league. We came very close last season but in the end we were missing just that little bit of energy. We will try to improve this year, though the league will be as hard as it always is,” Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti said.

Madrid allowed Angel Di Maria to go to Manchester United after he gave quite a season in 2013-14.

“The midfield is very well covered, and in place of Di María we have both Isco and James. In general, with the arrival of Kroos, James and Keylor, the squad has been strengthened. They have brought with them the keenness of the new player and a high degree of quality,” he averred.

Cordoba just got to the Spanish La Liga Primer Division this season; the soccer odds are expecting a beat down with the game total for this one listed at 4.5 goals.
