Uruguay and Italy will have to take one more game before going back home as they will fight for the third place in the Confederations Cup, this Sunday at 12 PM ET at Arena Fonte Nova.

Third place games usually are more relaxed than the rest of the tournament; there is no urgency to win it so defenses have more of a casual approach and it’s the perfect time to bet the OVER in the game total.

Uruguay lost with a late goal against Brazil, and Italy missed one penalty against Spain and was denied of the chance to play the Confederation Cup final.

“It went badly, and it’s disappointing as we put in a great performance against the world and European champions,” Italy’s midfielder Christian Maggio told Rai Sport.

“Fate went against us again. Now we will play for third place with heads held high, hoping next time it will go better. At certain times of the game,  we were superior. Spain are always Spain, but we had that extra determination for 120 minutes. As usual, we have problems on penalty shoot-outs, but we’re on the right track.”

Italy should be exhausted after losing in penalties against Spain, so Uruguay should be the best bet here.  Also, the Italians won’t settle for third places; they always want to win the competition a third place of a fourth is not much of a gain for them.

The moneyline pays Uruguay +155, Italy +155 and the draw over 120 minutes +250.
