SK Wyverns -215 -1.5 (-120) Under 10.0 (-115)

Odds as of Aug. 18th.

The victory improved the Dinos to 6-4 against the Heroes this season, and interesting enough three of the past four meetings have stayed under the total. That could be the case again on Wednesday, as both teams will trot out starters who have been performing well recently.

Kiwoom and NC Keep it Low Scoring

NC will give the ball to Min Hyuk Shin, who was fantastic in his first start of the season. Shin tossed 7 innings of two-run ball versus a Lotte team, that at the time was red-hot. He struck out five and didn’t allow a free pass, improving his strikeout-to-walk rate to 8-1 in three appearances.

He’s allowed just three runs in 10.2 innings of work this season and will face a Kiwoom squad that has been struggling offensively. They managed just one run and seven hits in Tuesday’s loss, and have now scored three or fewer times in four of their past six outings.

The Heroes will counter with right-hander Jake Brigham, who’s fresh off his best start of the season. The 32-year-old surrendered just one run and six hits in a victory over Hanwha, striking out seven along the way.

He’s faced the first place Dinos once this season, and he fared very well. Brigham held NC to one run and three hits in 5 innings, en route to a 5-1 win.

Pick: Under 11.0 (-115)

Sampson is an ATM

One pitcher who hasn’t pitched well recently is the Giants’ Adrian Sampson. The 28-year-old was shelled by NC in his last start, allowing six runs and seven hits in just 1 inning. It marked the second time in three starts he’s surrendered at least six runs, and he’s now given up five or more runs in five separate outings this season.

NCD 1.0 7 6 1
SK 3.1 5 1 0
LG 4.1 11 8 2

Now he has to face defending champion Doosan, who’s fresh off roughing up Dan Straily, one of the league’s top pitchers.

The Bears will send Young Ha Lee to the mound, who’s pitched much better recently than his 5.25 ERA would suggest. He’s allowed three or fewer earned runs in four straight outings, which includes 6 shutout innings against this same Lotte team two weeks ago.

Picks: Doosan Bears moneyline (-120), -1.5 (+125)
